"She dusts..."

Lmao.

Too bad people are so turned off by something new. This probably wont have a good opening...:(

But it looks amazing/.

Haha, that is so awesome that they show the scene between Scott and Todd (Brandon Routh) at the end with the cleaning lady dialogue. It's like almost word for word what is in the book. :lol

After the SDCC panel today they had a screening for people! How awesome. I'm glad they are so confident in letting people see it right now, I'm hoping word of mouth is great!

Last book in the series is out now too, ending was eh.:dunno

Very excited for the movie though, I think Edgar Wright is gonna hit this outta the park, and from what we've seen in the trailers Cera actually plays the role pretty well.

So Bagelsncheesey,IronJedi83,Bunnah and I saw this last weekend and it was AMAZING. Totally blew my mind by how awesome it is. If you like kung-fu fighting, video games, over-the-top violence, and dark comedy, then this is the movie for you.

Haven't read the books, but I overheard people talking that the ending was different than the books

And this looks great
Scott Pilgrim Bringing 8-Bits of Awesome To XBLA on August 25th
Written Tuesday, July 20, 2010 By Richard Walker

Consider Summer of Arcade unofficially extended by a week, as Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is set to make its debut on the Xbox Live Arcade a mere fortnight after the timed PSN-exclusive, according to an IGN report direct from Comic-Con.

Ubisoft's adaptation of Bryan Lee O'Malley's cult comic book, coincides with the launch of the movie, but takes its influence from classic 8 and 16-bit scrolling retro beat 'em ups like Streets of Rage and Final Fight.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World will be released on XBLA the week after Summer of Arcade ends, on August 25th, 2010. Check out the trailer and a few screens to see what all the fuss is about.

I had no idea WTH this movie was from................prolly why I thought it looked hella stupid when I saw the trailer awhile back, but Congrats to those that will enjoy this flick.

as Nick said, we saw the screening at SDCC, and the movie is amazing... i encourage everybody to go see this movie. tbh, i didn't really even want to see the movie, and went to the screening cause i was hungover and wanted to chill :lol

but after seeing it, i couldn't have been more wrong. awesome movie. the whole cast was there as well, very cool.

I was intrigued by the trailer (still don't get the craze for the comic), but after you guys glowing review of it I wanna see it even more!

I wanted to go with you guys, but only had that day left to see the rest of the con floor and didn't feel like walking all that way to the theater.

You know, she's not usually the type of girl that they make the love interest in films, so I've never really seen her "dolled" up, but she was looking mighty fine I must say

For those who may not read the rate movie thread, I figured I would copy and paste my semi-review in this thread as well, since it pertains to the film. Obviously!

Thanks to my buddy who scored me free passes to this flick! Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is by far one of the coolest and creative flicks around. Lots of originality, although there is some heavy Crank influence, but more on the comedy vs. the action. Where as the Crank films were the other way around. But like Crank had its fair share of comedy, this has its fair share of action! Best of all, it was shot and based in Canada and did shut outs to small Canadian towns! I even spotted a CBC shirt! 9 out of 10! LOVED IT! My favorite movie of 2010! Must own when it comes to DVD or Blueray! I don't give too many movies 9 out of 10, so believe you me when I say this movie rocks! :rock

P.S. Not that it matters, but the audience was laughing through out the movie and loving it. My bud and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Myself, more-so, because I love different movies, especially when they are done well. Thunderous applause irrupted at the end, something I predicted would happen with that kind of crowd. Also, on a side note, when the movie trailer premiered for "Devil", the crowd was quiet, until M. Night Shyamalan's name appeared, then everyone started laughing. Poor guy can't get a break!

GO SEE SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD!!! :fireworks :fireworks :fireworks
