I'm not all that bent out of shape about this. This is a character that I wouldn't mind owning and for a much cheaper price than the version with the bike. Depending on what the full reveal looks like and what the price is, I may order it. I like the troopers and it'll be my ROTJ piece.

It should have been a Stormtrooper, but he'll be made eventually.

As has been pointed out many times - just because they make a particular character, it isn't preventing another character getting made down the line.

And this release didn't use ANY resources at all - no new sculpting, no new tooling - not even any art direction - he's in the same pose! It's perfect for those that feel they can't afford the Scout and Bike and those of us who were SW PF completeists have been completely cured of this expensive and random affliction.

So stop your bellyaching.

Here's the thing... they don't announce PFs very often, so it's a wasted time slot to introduce something new. There's just nothing special about it, period!

I wonder if this will somewhat decrease a bit of the value to the bike/trooper piece? They are recycled parts overall.

I know it doesn't prevent other things from being introduced, but they really blew an opportunity to show something fresh and different from the rest.

It's like having a set where you get C-3p0 and R2-D2 PF set and then later they just release C-3P0. You can't do that and expect the same high response.

Sideshow needs to make money like everyone else. Reusing molds is a quick and easy way to make a little money. Those who are whining will be whining a lot more if Sideshow goes under. So quit yo crying.

Given the poor reception it would be a funny April Fool's Joke. But I would feel bad for the people who actually want this.
