I want a "press" badge. What are the qualifications and where/how do you qualify?
When you do qualify, make sure you say you need one for me, your personal assistant.
And one for your personal secretary as well!

This is why I'm grateful that I always get an Exhibitor's pass in addition to my Press badge. I'd stress myself out otherwise.

COMIC-CON 2010 PRESS REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED!
Thank you for your interest in applying for press credentials for Comic-Con International. Press Registration is closed for 2010. All press who have already have submitted their online applications must send us verification materials postmarked no later than June 25, 2010. Unfortunately we are unable to credential any press who do not send in verification materials. There will be no onsite press registration. Information about applying for 2011 will be available on our Web site in the fall. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.
Welcome Comic-Con Press!
Online registration is now closed, there will be no onsite registration.
Each year Comic-Con welcomes members of the media from all over the world. The only means for press access consideration is to pre-register. There will be NO ONSITE registration.
Members of the press are admitted to Comic-Con with a complimentary press pass. This pass is good for entry to all of the events held at Comic-Con (space permitting). The pass, however, does not allow for early entry into the Exhibit Hall or programming seminars and events and does not necessarily guarantee seating. Please keep in mind that press registration is non-transferable. You may not transfer, sell or reuse your membership.
Because of a variety of rules governing the San Diego Convention Center and Comic-Con International, wheeled carts or hand carts are not allowed onto the convention floor.
Additionally, camera crews, while free to roam the center, cannot set up equipment in a fixed manner (i.e. lights, chairs, etc.). Filming or recording of panels must first obtain the permission of panel participants. Any videotaping, filming, or recording of any manner which will be used for commercial purposes (non-news) must first obtain written permission from Comic-Con International. The videotaping of panel screens is prohibited and panels cannot be recorded in their entirety without written permission from Comic-Con International.
If we got 15 of us to pitch in $100 for a "booth," I'd be down, as long as it came with a vendor pass that included preview night... for all 15 of us. Someone make this happen.
Freaks Booth!!!!
I know it sounds like a bad idea but I think it could work.
I forgot to ask, what color underwear are you wearing?
Ween goes .

I always wear white.
I really could not give two ****s about Preview Night, this was my first year going to it and it was over before I knew it. In years past I had only gone to the con for two days, typically Friday and Saturday and I had an awesome time. If I get a four day pass with no PN, that is not gonna stop me from having a great time again.
Getting a booth doesn't sound like a bad idea... we would have a place to chill!
I always wear white.
I almost bought a Table just for Swag.
On it I would have a ginat sing that says.
Have Swag... Leave Swag
Want Swag... Take Swag
This way I get my pass to get in early and I don't have to do anything at the booth
Great Idea I thought until they jacked the price up from $900 to $1500
As long as they let you check in and pick up your four day pass (without preview night) on Wednesday like they did this year, I won't mind missing out on one night.
That is all I ask.
Ditto, that's the big mess I'm trying to avoid. Let me land in CA, settle in the hotel, pick up my tics and start finding Freaks to get SMASHED wit.
I'm sure you'll find illjedi somewhere around still looking for his bag.
