I already sold my soul to Satan when I wanted to get that Kratos Maquette.... *sigh*...guess I have to sell it. :/

Selling Kratos...holy crap!!! I have to take some photos of him still. I finished taking shots of the other stuff, but im going to take a few more and thats when i'll do the Kratos.

If you can afford and don't have any issues spending $500+ a night to be within a half mile, good for you. Me, going solo, don't want to spend more than ~$160 a night or less and staying 3 miles away works out great and affordable. Plus public transportation can be fun sometimes, especially during comiccon.

Typically my wife and I will split a room with another couple, so it's not as bad. Plus we're going to try and get in on the con pricing this year, so after the split it will be less than $150/night.

Thats definetly the way to go man. Its all about splitting the room.

6 people in one room is gonna be interesting and fun! Except when someone has to take a dump! :lol

*note to self: Buy air freshener *

I'd also make a note to buy earplugs in case there is a snorer or two in your group. Unless you are a heavy sleeper or just plan on passing out most nights. :lol

Or if you are lucky like me and get a Star Wars quoter who spouts quotes all the way late into the night. Getting giddy fans together in a room is definitely interesting.

:lol

@jen and @fury:

Well...Armored Foe and Pitu are two of the peeps that are staying with me.....u know how that is! :lol

Yeah I don't think there will be too much sleeping going on. I'm sure when or if it does happen it will be more of the pass out kind... So many better things to do at SDCC than sleep. That's what the Monday after you get home is for. :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

EXACTLY!!! I plan to bring a supply of 5 hour energy for myself. Maybe I'll get 4 hours of sleep each night, if I'm lucky. Monday will be hibernation day.

I thought of ear plugs as well for when I do pass out I dont want to wake up til I need to. Gonna need to get a little sleep cause just like Star Wars celebration i'll probably have blood shot burning eyes the next day. As Darksider said though...dont plan on sleeping to much.

Well, I have a smoking hot wife that also just wants to concentrate on the con, and doesn't care about shopping or site seeing while we're there. :p

Although, we will be going to Disneyland for 3 days before the con.

we are taking the exact same vacation

I got my plane tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please take the flirting to some other service (MSN, AOL, etc.) - we really don't need it here.

Seriously.
