other than the kotobukiya items, i haven't really kept up with anything else. i did manage to pick up a black lantern hal jordan & white lantern sinestro, which were pretty sweet. i missed out on the hasbro stuff though =(

Are you talking about the stuff from last year? The stuff from this year is going up slow for order.

lol you guys will get a kick out of this. Apparently my wifes friend was talking all about Comicon so she came home telling me this funny story. According to her friend we'll all be at the wrong place because apparently Comicon is going to be in San Franciso this year. So it now must be known as SFCC :slap :rotfl :rotfl

Well, there is Wondercon there every year which is a nice alternative to the madness of San Diego. Maybe they heard of that one...

well i'm curious to know if anyone knows of some good sdcc exclusives this year other than the kotobukiya stuff. just wanted to mention that last year i picked up some stuff from them and dc direct's lantern figures. so when you say "slow for order," does that mean you have to order it online and then pick it up at the con...and that's the only way to get those exclusives?

Oh I got ya. Go check out my thread in the general section I'm listing all the exclusives there as well as booth # and such as those come out. Just that only a few have gone up for order online for those going and not.

sweet! thanks josh. i just hate going to the show and seeing something really awesome and then finding out in order to buy it i had to order it online about a month before :gah: such a terrible feeling

I understand that. Had that happen once with a company that I didn't see anything about it sucks.

So what do u guys think about this sketch for a SDCC shirt? I used a generic looking Iron Man Hot Toys for copyright purposes! ;)

P.S...i was inspired by another shirt i saw and the fist propaganda!

I really like it just the way it is. All sketchy looking. Nice job.

For this interested in getting Hasbro shop exclusives at the show here is what you need to know purchasing info:

Thank you for asking the question about how to shop at HasbroToyShop.com at Comic Con! Yes, there is a system and not one you want to find out after you arrive! So, here it is…

During preview night, which is Wednesday, you need only come directly to our booth (#3329). We have a queuing system that goes around the booth and the wait can be up to 2.5 hours. At times, if the line exceeds the end of our booth, we do need to cap the line and you will be asked to come back later. This is for safety purposes, and we must follow the guidelines set forth by the fire marshals.

On Thursday-Saturday, you will need to go upstairs in the Sails Pavilion before approaching our booth (although when the doors first open, we do let that first wave of people start the line – but they usually line up outside the convention center in the middle of the night sometime) . We have a desk upstairs at the Sails Pavilion where we hand out tickets beginning at 9 am. The tickets will tell you what time you can enter the line (again, only if it does not exceed the booth capacity). For example, the ticket will say Thursday after 12 noon. That means you can get in line Thursday at 12 noon, or any time thereafter…even the following day or as late as Sunday. One word of caution, though. Items do sell out during the course of one day, can come back into stock the next day or be sold out for the show…This is because we have limited storage space on the floor of the convention. Sometimes we can get into the warehouse and get more off our trailers, other days not, which is why you would need to get in line again the following day if the item you want is not available for the day.

I hope this helps you with your planning as you get ready for your first ComicCon.

Like what? Their is really WAY to many people that want Hasbro. Blame all those scalpers who have to buy all those cases.

Easy. Let people pre-order them online and pick up at the show during. Works great for everyone else that does it.

Exactly. I'm not getting any exclusives if I have to jump over backwards or stand in line for hours. It's just not worth it to me.
