We probably won't hear anything for another couple weeks. At the earliest a month out which is next week.

what a pain in the ass. When I originally purchased tickets, I ended up securing 4 single individual days because the 4-day was out of stock, but then was later able to get a 4-day. So I had to return/refund the single days. Just did that now. They don't make it easy. YOu need 3 confirmation numbers per ticket (Barcode #, Ticket Leap #, and Epic #) and have to manually fill out each request individually. Took me about a half hour to get it all done, and saving all the files/screenshots so I don't get screwed over.

Oh yeah, Ticketleaps processing fee is non-refundable too.

The party hasn't been planned yet? Is that really what you guys think?

I'm considering flying because after 2.5 tanks of gas, probably be a wash. Just don't want to have to ship stuff and I like the drive.

The last couple years I've gotten away with not having to ship things back. Just really good at packing things in my suitcase. Makes it more fun not having to wait for my stuff to get back to me.

Yeah well it's a last minute thing and can only really spare a day for it. Would leave early and get back late.
Vegas is very cool- hell, I was born there - but I'm not sure it's worth that. You are talking about an incredibly exhausting day and drive.

Seriously.

Would this be before or after Con? I ask only because Con is exhausting in itself!

No kidding!

I can't imagine driving to Vegas, walking around there (which is as exhausting as Con) and driving back the same day. And doing that after walking around Con for days!

Doesn't sound fun to me at all... but then, I'm old. :(

I did CIV for a single day by myself in LA leaving Vegas at 4 AM and getting back at about 2 AM. Nope, never again. But it was an incredible day, and hooked me into the Celebration circuit for life I think.

Also did another LA roundtrip to see Blade Runner Final Cut! Didn't know it would come to Vegas a week later. Shorter trip, but a lot of fun too. It's just a bit too far to do on a regular basis anymore.

Chose Tuesday if you must go, and conserve your energy on Wednesday. Take the advice of your SDCC elders. I'm on my seventh year attending, and others have me way beat.
