BTW, the cynicism of some people here about the lady that died are quite disturbing. Seriously people... you're so fast to pass judgement and don't see this as the tragedy it is...
This was an awful accident and only the people that were there know exactly what happened...

Anyway...
To a few more uplifting comments...
I stopped by the Convention Center today, Sideshow didn't have any figures yet on display as of 6:00 pm
I'm sure all of the will be up tomorrow afternoon.

I did saw a few cool things though. there's a South Park video Game booth that's really cool!
I also saw the Frankenweenie/Disney one, WB, Marvel, AMC Walking Dead and a few more!
Cannot wait for tomorrow!!

If a 12 year old girl died doing the same thing, it would be devastating. The person I most feel sorry for is the guy driving the truck that has to live with himself for hitting this lady, when she should have known better in the first place.

In my home town, a father took his 3 kids on a bike ride and they all got ran over by a teenager speeding through a red light who lost control of his SUV and wiped them out before smashing through a building. Killed the dad and 2 of his kids. Left behind a wife and one daughter. I cried over that one. That's a tragedy.

I'm not trying to be cynical and I won't talk about it anymore, but I just don't have any sympathy for this lady and I think it's ridiculous there's a petition for a moment of silence at the twilight panel.

sad to hear about the lady that was killed, but a moment of silence during the twilight panel is a little silly IMO.

either way, hate to see a life ended for no reason. RIP and my deepest sympathies go out to her family and friends.

I loved going to SDCC (went back in 2008). Just the amount of stuff to look at can keep you busy for hours. I wish I could go every year
