I don't think SS would post a product other than their own on their own calendar cover....... But I could be wrong?

funny thing is 2 years ago,The average joe (like most wannabe's here) didnt even Know who Iron Man was or Tony Stark...now Everybody jump on the IM bandwagon like he's the greatest super hero ever.

IMO only the Mike deserve this piece and Tetragrammaton at Statue Forum.... (true IM fans)

And me. I have had Iron Man No. 1 and Iron Man and Submariner No. 1 since I was 14.... I loved Iron Man back in the day as a kid.

QFT, before the movie, everyone thought he was just this average hero, not in the league of Hulk or Spidey. Now everyone thinks he's bigger than Wolverine. I remember trying to find Iron Man stuff before, and how hard it came to find decent figures and statues. Now its like he's on and has been made into everything.

I'm still contemplating whether or not I should buy the 1:1 bust as well, or just go after this one. The paint app. has scared me away from the bust, and I HOPE that with a piece of this caliber, SS steps up their QC to say the very least. If they send out this piece with the same lack of QC that previous pieces had, I'm going to be extremely disappointed, more so than I already am as of lately.

I've been reading IM comics for years now (I'm not that old, so I haven't been reading them as long as some of you guys have). One of my favourite comics.

But I wouldn't call others "wannabe's". If they just like the movie, and are not into comics, that is fine IMO.
