Looks solid. Too bad JL had to take the wind out of my interest in these. Hype train derailed!

Jl was a hot mess and it showed. WW before it wasn't and it was a good movie same with Aquaman which came after it. This movie should be good.

Looking forward to official trailer #2 (if they counted the comicon trailer as the first one).

DC is going from one extreme to the other.

I appreciate that they've decided to put some humor in their movies put they need to tone it back a bit, this is borderline slapstick.

This is Shazam the humor is perfect. As long as they don't make Batman and Superman solo movies into a comedies i am ok.

I disagree and think the humor is over the top and it turns me off from the movie, everyone's entitled to their opinion though.

Ye i get that but understgand Shazam is a 14 to 15 year old. You are not going to get adult humor from a kid you are going to get extra extra cheese. :rotfl

Yeah, looking forward to it. Glad Warner Bros. finally figured out that there are some DC characters for which a lighter tone just works better.

It does for this character. We are dealing with a kid in a mans body. I wouldn't want this tone or slap stick comedy in any Batman movie I watch. I'm stoked for SHAZAM though. I have 2 sons who are the perfect age to enjoy this and I'm pretty sure I'll get a few laughs out of it myself. Hell, I already chuckled a few times during the trailers.

I just read that Billy takes his father's form when he's Shazam because his dad was his vision of a true hero. Apologies if this is widely known, not too up on the character.
