Should I keep my GG Slave Leia preorder?

I never thought of Carrie Fisher as hot in the SW movies, but after looking at the GG statue, I've changed my mind. This piece certainly brings out all her assets. And no, I will not be buying this.

Again I didn't buy the bloody thing for that. I bought it because the sculpt was amazing from what I saw at the SDCC 2006 show. I just don't like when you buy something based on a sculpt and it gets a drastic change like that. It effects the opinion of the piece. *sigh*

Even if her size fit with Jabba, the pose is just too geared towards the hormonal male collector versus depicting her from a film pose. What would be great is if they followed this up with a statue of her and look from the classic about to swing from the barge image that is used heavily.

This statue was the talk of SDCC because it was so provocative, whether that was a deliberate move on their part or unintentional, it proved to be a brilliant publicity move.
I think we're more angry that they teased us with something they'll never make, a titillating Slave Leia statue. Another thing is the statue's ass wasn't the problem, it's those damn strange midget hands of hers.

Hogwash. This is a high-end collectible statue. Hasbro released an Unleased Slave Leia that showed as much booty as the GG prototype and the Unleashed Padme also had gigantically erect nipples. And those were TOYS that could be found by kids in any Wal-Mart.

I can't help but chuckle at the fact a user named Bum is talking about this statue, pretty fitting.
