Should I keep my GG Slave Leia preorder?

You don't really think that GG would take an opportunity like SDCC to reveal a scantily clad female statue to a crowd of over-hormoned, lonely, shower-phobics do you!?

So what are you saying, you're not one of those over-hormoned, lonely, shower-phobic people? If SDCC was right down the block you would be one of the first people gawking at the GG Slave Leia. Having said that I am over-hormoned *check*, have a girlfriend so not lonely, maybe lonely about being lonely, and shower-phobic, perhaps at times, but then that's because I am taking a nice bath. What?! There is nothing wrong with soaking in a bath full of bath suds from your favorite Saturday Morning cartoon characters.

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to pump up the post so people would take notice of my question. The question is, what is the ES on her?

According to Gentle Giant's web site, the ES is 5500. Seems a bit high, but I got a good enough deal that I don't mind.

5,500? Ugh.. well it is SW, and their fans are in huge masses. And this was at first the definitive Princess Leia piece, even more-so than SideShow's PF, but then had to mess that up with covering her lower body up. *sigh*

Nah man, I have my gf for that and I lucked out with a little hottie. But I preordered a damn statue to look a certain way and paid 150 US for it, I better get it that way! Know what I mean? hehe

As long as the body and facial sculpt are very realistic in appearance as shown at last year's show I'll be happy. Even given the fact she's more covered up.

Anybody have pictures of the before (original SDCC sculpt) and after (the one they're actually releasing) to see what all the hubbub is about? I've seen the GG and I was considering getting it to go with the 12" Jabba/throne--- like to know how much it's changed.

It's Princess Leia in a metal bikini, it's always been a 14 year old's **** fantasy.
I loved the statue at SDCC, I still like it but it doesn't have that shock and awe anymore.

Not really though, prototypes get changed all the time. There's nothing new in that. If it were a production piece that ended up getting recalled and changed then that's different.

The pose is too sexy. With this pose and that look on her face, she should be posed with Han (or Luke).

Wow, what a nice thing to say. Note sarcasm.

One, I didn't buy the piece for the ass. I bought it for the great sculpt, but it does complicate things when the sculpt is altered and because of it has taken a hit IMO. I originally bought the piece based on what we saw from SDCC 2006. Two, I don't like porn, but thanks for the advice. You're so thoughtful. Again, note sarcasm.
