I just scored a brand new Marmit Stormy on an amazing deal ($75), but damn I didn't realize how much you have to do to put this guy together lol!

Thanks for the Soldier Story body recommendation Solo Bones - think I'm gonna go for one of those when I actually get the guts up to start cutting and gluing the armor on this beautiful fig.

Congrats on your great buy, Reefer Shark. You got a deal. BTW, no cutting or gluing on the armor if you don't want. Just don't use the feet of the Soldier Story body and leave ankles as is on the Marmit.

My marmit stormie is pre-owned which has his chest armor glued. Scared to use acetone on the glue cause may shrink the plastic.

Yep, I bought a second Legacy Connery when they came out specifically with a ToD Club Obi Indy in mind. Good luck on the hunt!

yeah I just picked up my fourth sandtrooper my self. it`s the marmit squad leader now I have two squad leaders in my collection

here`s my stormtroopers one marmit and the other sideshow

While SSC wins in the 'super white looking' category, the overall proportions look nicer on the Marmit to my eyes.

SSC also feels better in hand, even if it has a number of "off" proportions on some of the armor pieces. Both look like real humans in a suit, which is always a good thing.
