I'm missing the Marmit TIE Pilot and the Sandtrooper Squad Leader (orange pauldron). I'm considering a second Stormtrooper too. This is because I went for 1:1 props and helmets lately, so scaled items were second place. But will get these figures some day, I have enough patience to find a good deal

That makes me curious, what IS a good price for a Marmit sandtrooper, particularly a squad leader? There was one on e-bay a couple days ago, used.

I've got the marmit but am tempted by the medi. Is it worth the dosh?

yeah the medicom looks outstanding, the only down side for me is the size of the medi. although the tie fighter pilots are kinda short dudes or at least they look so next to darth vader.

Yeah I agree with the scale. I've displayed most of the medi alone so it's not a problem and I love the look of the tie fighter pilot. Oh well if I can find one....

Do you guys reckon a medicom tie pilot would be able to be ported to a TT slim? I probably prefer it to the marmit, mostly due to the stitching on the suit (and medi captured the helmet/gear just as well imo). Just gotta find one that isnt near £300! hah

i think you might be able to do the switch but to a slim tt body. if the medi tie fighter is the same size as the boba fett then i dont think it´ll work with a regular tt.

These two turned up today!

Only had time to put the At-At driver together so far. Very pleased with him, great improvement over my Dragon bodied Hasbro version.... (must paint those gloves white!)

and with my true type bodied Sandtrooper....

Gotta say I think the Marmits are my favourite troops!

Thanks mate... I made everything except the shoulder pads, knee pads & weapons the boots are recasts with my own mods.

Cheers shocktrooper_au, managed to get the Marmit Stormtrooper put together this evening - heart in mouth moment when I dropped a freshly superglued, black re-breather, (3mm plastic rod), onto a dark brown carpet!!

Decided to keep him on stock body, so no ankle or wrist mods, but I really like him! Here's a few dodgy iPhone shots - enjoy!
