I want, desparately, to hate chihuahuas, but I can not.

I want to see them as being about as worthless as a rat, but I can not.

In fact, my efforts to hate this animal have, ironically, given me a respect for the dog that surprises me.

As a die-hard German Shepherd man, I find it to be strange how very much I want a Chihuahua as well.

I am so conflicted.

Mah kitteh Flynn. :)

He's very fond of the bay window;to the point that he rarely leaves it during the day. After a few "settling in"moments, he and the girls have reached a detente. Bailey pretty much ignores him, and he her. He and Becky alternate between challenging each other and playing, which are probably the same thing...
Not a bad little guy(for a cat). I made the mistake of letting my wife go to PetsMart un-escourted...someday I'll learn...PS

Well everyone was surprised by my cat fluffy's age and sure enough recently shes seemed completely lifeless. I took her to the vets today ( I thought collectibles were expensive ! ) and they've done a blood test and said her teeth are in pretty bad condition but that's to be expected with her age. They said her teeth might be best coming out but she might not wake up from the anesthetic, then they mentioned about putting her down. :(

I couldn't do it so I'm waiting on the blood tests to check her kidney and liver. If they're still working ok and it's just her teeth making her feel ill then I'll pay to have them taken out. If she doesn't wake up then at least I tried. She's still occasionally purring and drinking and eating ok , just not walking around and her back legs seem very weak. To just put her to sleep seems wrong to me if theres a chance I could get her feeling better , here's hoping the blood tests are ok so it's just the teeth we have to worry about.

She's taking antibiotics for the next week while we wait for the results.

@ Uscmhicks, good luck I hope your moggy just needs the dentist. It's so hard when you have to make a decision for what's best for the beast.

She might just have an infection going. Wishing the best for her. :1-1:
