Grey is up!!!!!!!! ORDERED!!!!!!!!

Good point how many would have a change of heart if there was a Grey release, this I wonder!!!!?

I'll admit if a Grey version came up, I would cancel my Green order and go with Grey, solely to match the PF.

I'm no fan of this bust, but I do see the Kirby influence here. Very prominently in fact. But I agree that most people were probably hoping for something not quite as "classic". My hope was for a more 70's style Hulk, although I probably would've been OK with something more modern. Again, SS has already paid homage to Kirby. Twice now. And with the two most high-end Hulk pieces produced to date. It's time for a different take. Like I said earlier, I wish SS would begin to produce lines within lines by producing silver, bronze, copper and modern versions of a character in their prominent formats like PF and 1:1. I think there's enough demand to make it worth their investment...

The Spidey/Hulk diorama was DEFINETLY modern and so was the LSB. Those were freakfests IMO and I wasn't interested in either.

I'd be all for a 70's, Sal Buscema take on the Hulk. I'd love to see a new LSB done in that style so I have a Hulk to go with the classic versions of Daredevil, Thor and Captain America that I own.

It's just funny that they decided to go "classic" on this one. I put classic in quotes because people say this is a Kirby Hulk but I just don't see it. Every time someone does a Hulk that's semi-monster-like people like to throw the name Kirby around and therefore making it sacriligious to put the item down. It's a "King Kirby" Hulk so you are not a true fan if you don't know what the source is.

This ain't no Kirby 1:1 Hulk bust. I see the Kirby influence on the PF, but I don't see it here. This just looks like an Universal Monsters 1:1 bust that is painted green. They put a name plate that says Hulk in the front and used some weird LSB format for the chest area. More power to those of you that are buying it, but I just can't believe that this is what most people here had in mind as a Hulk 1:1 bust. This was a highly anticipated product in this board with all the Hulk fans and although you can see the quality of the sculpt itself, this ain't no Hulk for me.

I agree in the sense that I see less Kirby in this sculpt than others do. I don't recall Kirby ever drawing him so "teethy" and so freakin' pissed but I prefer this over any 90's version.

Hell, they should've used Bowen's new retro or classic Hulk FS as a template.
