We're going to need yet another 3PO option, perhaps just a 3/4 "bust" for the eventual Landspeeder. None of the current figures can get even remotely close to sitting

It would be great when HT finally makes their 3PO if they use their new IronMan technology where there is a replacement midsection for attaching the legs in a sitting position.

He looks great. Maybe the only thing they could have done is make him break down into smaller parts to fit on Chewie's back

It seems like poor 3PO has been forgotten about here, but it looks like they DID improve the paintjob quite a bit. It appears much glossier now, and is it just my imagination or is the head a bit narrower as well?

Mouth is still a bit too high, but everything else looks really good to me.

It doesn't look any different to me than in previous showings. It's awesome, I'm getting it, but that chin is still the elephant in the room (not as notcieable in that pic because he's looking down slightly.)

And yes, I'm assuming this has a split-apart built in for the landspeeder - maybe the speeder will come with the special hip piece for sitting.

That struck me too. I was at the Con yesterday, and noticed the head looking somewhat narrower, as well... Looks great in person. His gate is a little wide at the crotch, but that may be resolved with some leg joint futzing? Who knows... Paint application is very nice though.

Other than sculpt, this is the most critical thing.

Awesome shots! They've really nailed the finish - hope the final figure is like that. It's the best 3PO finish SCC has done at any scale.

I'm really looking forward to having this guy in-hand. After all the price increases, $230 is actually a pretty great deal and I ordered with a $20 off coupon - a stellar value for what you're getting. Leno chin aside, this is really looking like one of Sideshow's best ever releases.

It truly is a nice piece! After seeing it in person, a lot of the issues that I (and many other) had about the likeness, including the chin, really are barely(if even) noticeable in hand.

Even so, I still prefer the TN, but this guy is no slacker! I may get him to do another K-3PO custom if Sideshow doesn't beat me to it!

Fantastic shot. Don't know why they wouldn't turn the lights on these figures. Bring some extra batteries, swap them out each morning.

^ Ok just that one shot alone makes me want to order this right now.

As for the head, the only thing really bothering me is that you can barely make out the black dots in his eyes. Since that is something that should be clearly visible even when his eyes aren't lit up.
