I'll probably get two off the bat but I'll be hunting for a cheap third. That's what I did with Jedi Luke and got my 3rd off of these boards in the For Sale section back then for $60 shipped from someone who was liquidating. I'm already considering two Rexs and if they had decided to give him an ROTS "conceptual" look helmet I'd get be thinking three as well.

I thought about getting two rex figures but I can go with just one. Since Cody comes with two helms thats a must for me.

Cody will absolutely have to be displayed on my desk at work. So that is at least one extra that I will need to get.

I guess. Its not Mardi Gras so I don't expect the rainbow of colors you get there. Plenty of colors for me I suppose. Basically I always thought each figure stood out just fine on the shelf and on screen.

I'm just finding the Star Wars line a bit lackluster in color, while it's true to the film costume, there's a lot of blacks, greys, browns, whites, when you have a lot of figures in that basic color scheme, you start to lose them amongst each other, figures like the Gamorrean, Greedo, Yoda and even Cody with the hologram will add more color to the visual display.

That's one of the reasons I'm excited about getting more aliens. Not necessarily for the color, but for the variety (though Aayla and Kit Fisto definitely make the jedi display that much cooler).

Yeah, I've got nothing against people that love the troopers, but for me, they kind of feel redundant after a bit, often distinguished by small differences, like the Sandtroopers, I've always liked the orange pauldron just because it made that one stand out from the rest. I like the ROTS Clone Commanders because they were even unique amongst their batallions, but also very different from one another. I love Star Wars for the visual variety of the universe it takes place in and I too am excited about the creatures coming, getting back to that visual variety. Even when it was heavily Jedi and Sith, it felt a little stale after a bit, but the stuff coming down the line and guys like Cody should really bring some eye catching stuff.

Well, as a Clone guy especially for me there's plenty of difference. Plenty of color that separates them and all that plus they just look cool as ____ on the shelf. I hope we continue to see plenty of clones and commanders along with the nice mix of creatures. The great thing about this line is its got something for everyone so I guess none of it gets redundant for me.

Interstingly, to me, despite the fact that this is one of my most-wanted characters and Sideshow seems to have done a good job on him...I find myself strangely underwhelmed.


I must search inwardly and contemplate this revelation.

this figure looks amazing... SST has really pushed things with the variety of sculpts included and the weathering!

Oh wow, thats awesome. Love it, the Phase I helmet is pretty awesome too! Do the exclusives come with both bases?
