Heh. I'm weird I guess. In my opinion ToD > Crusade > Raiders. I do like them all, but apparently my order of preference is the direct opposite of most fans'.

Has anyone spoken to Trevor Grove to see if this is his work?? I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't. He hasn't worked on SSC's figures in a while.

I don't know, Trevor's work usually has a pretty distinct style, and this doesn't really look like one of his to me.

I was thinking the same thing, that it doesn't really look like Trevor's work. Is it true he hasn't done much for Sideshow lately? Was the last thing he did the Hoth Luke and Han?

I prefer Temple of Doom to The Last Crusade.

Temple of Doom gets a bad rap but there is some really good snappy dialogue between Indy and Willie. Good writing and they play off each other well.

This isn't Trevor's work. Spoke to him the day it was revealed to confirm. He wasn't even aware that they had this in production.

That's a damn shame they didn't get Trevor to do it. I wonder why. And it's a little sucky that they seem to keep Trevor out of things like that. His work is so amazing and I think a huge part of Sideshow's successes. I would think they would involve him more in the process of projects. I know he's just a hired gun to Sideshow, but I think he deserves a little more respect than that after all the hard work Sideshow has gotten from him.

I wonder who they did end up using, then...

Yes, this. The great banter between all the characters in TOD is one of the main reasons I love it so much (and was a key ingredient that was completely missing from the awful 4th movie). I'm always amazed to hear people complain about Willie and her "nonstop screaming", because I always thought the actress was absolutely hilarious and a lot of fun in the role.

Temple of Doom is my favorite .....but I wish they were doing a Last Crusade figure instead....

Already have the amazing Temple of Doom PF .... the figure isn't going to be better than that.
....though maybe this means they are getting closer to finally doing the Last Crusade PF ....

I have to agree that is a big petpeeve for me. It is so overdone in the movie that by the midpoint it just becomes annoying and embarrasing for Kate Capshaw

So is there a possibility of Mola Ram and Shorty with this, or is this a one-shot deal? I'm guessing Mola Ram would be pretty elaborate but Shorty's pretty basic.

This next to Marty McFly would be a mid 80's bullseye.

I'll give any company a go if they deliver the goods for the money they're asking.

I'm really eager to see more of this release - because while I ultimately passed on the DX05 (like many), I seriously want ONE nice high end Dr. Jones figure in my line up.

That said, even if this ends up being a home run, the days of SSC producing licensed 1/6 figures for an affordable price compared to HT.. is sadly over. This will be expensive I bet.

Well, I'm pretty sure I'm getting this one no matter what, barring a catastrophic disaster in the final piece. I'll definitely wait for at least a coupon before I order. Or wait til next Spook for some RPs (if Sideshow decides to do it again! ). I have a feeling the figure will be around for a while after it's released, so it might be a good candidate to wait for a bargain.

I think - little by little, the collector community at large is beginning to realize that the knee jerk PO response is pointless now.

That culture is fading fast.
