The scar on the chin is so deep set that it reminds me of Sgt Barnes. It really doesn't look like the proto sculpt at all to me. I cancelled the figure a while ago, but I am tempted to pick up a loose head, just to see it in hand.

Aside from the likeness and obviously enhanced lighting, it looks like they either enlarged or moved the head down in that shot. The line under the jawline looks like quickie photoshopping.

Yup, it's photoshopped to ****, but wait.. The photographer will come on and claim it isn't. Even though it has rendered lens flare and obvious photo correction.

Credit to Sideshow for one thing, at least they put these pics out of the production piece before release to give us the opportunity to cancel. That really is the best thing I can say regards this situation.

This looks pretty horrible IMO
Will this thread get locked now?

Wow...Beetlejuice is ****** :gah:

It looks pretty good in that 3/4 angle with the hat off but the hat does look pretty huge when it's on and in some of those far away shots he's looking a little boyish, maybe that's where the Bana is coming in. Little boy Bana.

This shot looks like Ford to me and looks pretty sold. The others I'm not sure of. Wish they would post higher-res shots of these figures:

I always wondered what David Duchovny might look like wearing the Indy costume...

Oh I hadn't noticed the scar, but you're right, that does look really weird. Surprising that they couldn't even get that part right.

I really want Sideshow to succeed and I really want to give them my money as they produce figures from lines I am interested in, but having said that, they consistently put out production figures that are significantly different from the prototype which, in my opinion, is completely unacceptable.

Yeah. The most disappointing thing about this whole thing to me is that it's now pretty apparent that this figure is not going to supply the kickstart the INDY license needed. It'll be all but dead now. :(

Not that the figure is horrible. It's just... eh. But at $230 it needed to be a home run.

This is definitely a foul ball. :lecture

I can't believe I have to seriously consider cancelling this.
I'm easy to please and the likeness and pant apps look good here.....but the pinhead here .....really Sideshow?

Were they just looking at new ways to screw up figures?
Is this meant to be displayed as a shrunken head companion to Beetlejuice?

I would have been happy enough with Snake Plissken quality ...or XWing Luke ...or Hoth Luke/Han. I don't expect more from Sideshow.
Was that really too much to ask?

Sideshow needs to take a lesson from QMX and the Mal situation...

Or Big Chief...

Or Asmus...

Small companies that truly appreciate what it takes to EARN their customer's dollar.

I definitely see Ford in the sculpt, especially the eyes. I really like the hatless head, but it needs more stubble. The lower lip looks too fat, like he got punched too many times. But I can see where Sideshow was going with it. Can't explain the big hat, but it looks way better than HT's effort and Sideshow's older Indys. I still want to see in-hand pics before deciding on this because the price is so darn high. I know he's not perfect, but I just find it so difficult to be overly critical with him. It's Indiana Jones.

I know alot of folks like 1:6, but in the back of my head I just wished they would have skipped this and just finished the PF line. I would have been a lot happier.

I just saved over $900+ by not preordering or buying xwing luke, c3po, beetlejuice, and indy..... its like im getting hot toys hulk buster for free

Same here but when you add in the amount of statues I didn't buy last year it's like I'm making a fortune!
Think I'll quit my job and go full time at not buying this stuff :)

I now see purpose of NRD, to keep you vested in keeping figure or laugh at you if you cancel. (I still got your. $20). For chest to be exposed without chest hair is to odd, head to neck thing might be issue if person propping figure didn't secure it. What happened to il luminous stones. And the kindergarden paint aps on regular stones that are suppose to look like smoothly polished stones.

Scaring paint looks like a transfer sticker or shotty special effects makeup, shirt looks to polished.

I could go on but I think I covered some flaws. So glad I canceled this I placed preorder before they instituted NRD on this.

I think Sideshow should advertise it with this quote! Probably the best compliment they can get! :lol

Yes this is really their new business slogan to be instituted in flashing lights

"Not completely horrible ".

It looks best when seen from afar, like the picture of the packaging... looks great there.

(Valley voice ) wait are you totally saying this is like a Monet painting. Looks good from afar but get up close and it's a big mess.

Wow that's like totally profound (hair flip)
