Actually - although I think we're on the same page, those two pics aren't a great comparison really.

That Boba is the life size one - right? Regardless, that's a different shape AGAIN to the 1/6 Boba helmet they've done - unbelievable.

You should've used the 1/6 Boba helmet as an example - then they'd be virtually identical in sculpt.

Yeah, I used the 1:1 scale Boba as an example. 1:1 scale Boba is pretty much a perfect example of what the helmet proportions should be, to me at least.

I'm ordering this guy mainly as a filler until they (hopefully) release another 1/6 Boba Fett. I'm not the biggest fan of the prequels, but I do like the Jango character design. In fact, I think Jango might be the only character from the prequels that I would be willing to buy so I am looking forward to this. I do think the poncho should be the exclusive rather than the unmasked headsculpt. That seems like a strange decision on Sideshow's part.

Although I'm 95% down for this figure at this stage..

I got to about 50%.

Wonky though it is the helmet and uniform have an OT resonance for me. Enough to get me halfway to ordering.

But there's so much pre-ordered, and potentially on the horizon.

And this sums it up for me:

I'm ordering this guy mainly as a filler until they (hopefully) release another 1/6 Boba Fett. I'm not the biggest fan of the prequels, but I do like the Jango character design.

Given a choice I'd rather have a ROTJ Boba over a Jango.

Then yesterday another helmeted character caught my attention: Art Figures' Judge Dredd.

So Jango's been pushed down the list. Maybe later as this is one SS figure that I wouldn't be needing the exclusive of.

I'm a fan of the Jango armour, & I've been waiting for them to do a figure for what seems like forever now.
That said - I had a sneaking suspicion they'd rehash that Boba helmet.

While I too am interested in seeing their ROTJ Boba, I fear they'll port the same mistakes over to that figure too.

I keep saying it, but making my own custom Boba might be my last straw if HT don't step up in the next couple years.

Holding out for the ROTJ version is the reason I skipped on buying the ESB version. One day having both Jango and Boba displayed together will be great.

The smokin gun effects made me lol, wont use those. Any unhelmeted head will stay in the box, so wont use that either. Would have loved a flame thrower effect. Would haved loved a child Boba figure included like the Boil Waxer set

I was thinking the exact same thing. I would love to have Sideshow release a multi figure Clone Cadets set...would be great to have with Echo and Fives!

There are some things they cannot take away from us. No matter how hard they try!

Something like Brian Daley's Han Solo trilogy will forever remain canon as far as I'm concerned. It's instilled in me as the real spirit of Star Wars, far more so than the PT could ever be.

Just rewatched Episode 2 again. That movie is so bad. All the acting sucks except for Ian Mcdiarmid, Christopher Lee, and Temura Morrison. Which is weird because there are some great actors in that movie.

Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman, even Sam Jackson was really bad. It just seems like they are all just going through the motions with no emotion. It's actually my favorite prequel movie because of the characters and clones but man it's just bad.
