Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman, even Sam Jackson was really bad. It just seems like they are all just going through the motions with no emotion. It's actually my favorite prequel movie because of the characters and clones but man it's just bad.

I like Ewan McGregor, but I thought he was pretty bad in the PT. Don't think he could bring himself to say some of that awful dialogue with any conviction.

I'm waiting for susans reply regarding the head gear being sculpted on. I'll post here when she finds out. She said she would ask today.

I know right? All great actors but just poor execution or direction.

Just rewatched Episode 2 again. That movie is so bad. All the acting sucks except for Ian Mcdiarmid, Christopher Lee, and Temura Morrison. Which is weird because there are some great actors in that movie.

Agreed on Mediator andbTemura but I thought Lee was horrendous. Mostly due to the horrid diologue. I hate Count Dookie more than Grievous.

I still like McGregor as Obi. For the most part he did good with the exception of some of the more unbearable lines. Even the best of actors can't make a turret shine. Although I haven't watched Ep.JOin years.

That scene was the first time I realized that George had made a terrible mistake in making prequels, and that he was in fact a mere mortal like the rest of us.

I thought Christopher Lee did fine with the bad dialogue. Then again, I haven't seen Episode 2 in a long time and his scenes in Episode 3 are very brief.

Ep2 has a lot of stuff that I like and a lot I really dislike, clones, jango, kamino, geonosis battle where all cool, farting flea cows, bad dialogue and the corny yoda fight bad

Im sure this is mentioned somewhere is the million pages of this thread.

Not including a sculpted head on the non exclusive is insulting considering the price. By the way, Jango is NOT deluxe Darth Vader price. Even Han and Luke Hoth have alternate head sculpts!.

headgear removable=win
headgear sculpted on =easy pass

Am I the only one who kind of likes the gun smoke?
Maybe it's because it reminds me of the cheap Star Wars figures I played with as a kid. :rotfl

I saw an edited version that cut out all padme/anakin cringy romance scenes... made the movie so much better

Taking that all out would help greatly, yes. Since it never really built a "romance" anyway, it was so forced. Wasted time. The mom stuff was wasted too. Could have been so much better -- like if she died as a result of him coming to rescue her. Then I could see his self-hatred getting the better of him over time. True agony. There was so much possibility with AOTC, it should have been the true spine of the story; the beginnings of the descent into Vader, but it isn't -- that's one of the reasons it fails so miserably.

AOTC would be a much better movie with a running time under 2 hours. But it will always remain the worst of the six... for now.

What cracks me up is that despite all it's issues episode 1 is the most like the original trilogy. Episode 3 looks the most like the original trilogy, but that's where the similarities end.

Well said! I always thought there was room to tell us more about Vader's activity before he ran into Luke and Ben again. Much more there.....I wouldn't be surprised if it's one of Disney's side movies.
