Sideshow 1/6 Jawa Figure Set

I did a lot of research into the Jawas when I was designing my own.

A twill at a good scale is hard (but not impossible) to find. What's most amazing is that once you start really researching something, you'll be blown away by how you start to find examples or related things elsewhere. Every day I was finding/seeing Twill fabric - even in my sleep sometimes.

I'm happy with the final production pics. Weathering the robes should be easy enough. Just brush on some movie dirt and call it a day.

The stands they're including look interesting. They have foot pegs like the old Kenner figs. I kind of like that but I'll probably end up grabbing another Sandtrooper base just for consistency in my display.

I'm hoping the hood tendrils can be tucked down inside the backs of their robes. It'll take some futzing but since they're separate pieces it shouldn't be too difficult.

Looking forward to having a decent Jawa on display.

I think I'll try and get another custom sand base from Cocoboloboy or something.

I'm pretty happy with how they look. If I really like the set I have on order I might even go for a second. Hope I get an email soon but the product page now lists a June release. Nice to see the updated production photos before shipment.

Interesting, why do you find the new pics show an inferior product?

The Production fabric is crap (and cheap) compared to the Prototype.

Yeah, the original material was what turned me off - totally wrong. The production material isn't perfect but it's looking a lot better.

yeah not sure. i feel like medicoms material and even hood is really nice. and i dont understand the stands. it would be nice to have a regular thick stand or better, a cool sand base with rock? anyways. looking forward to more in hand pics. i do like them
