I was supposed to get mine tomorrow as well but he's out for delivery now.

I need an R2 so bad. My Star Wars collection has this huge whole in it without one.

Mine is scheduled to be delivered today as planned ... but I have a new UPS guy and last time he didn't leave the package because I was at work. So there's a chance I have to get it tomorrow at UPS station. Which would suck the big one.

Its amazing that it can get to Canada as fast as it can get to Brentwood, CA.

Crazy isn't it? Man I used to work in Westlake Village, just minutes from SSC. It always kinda stuck in my craw that I had to wait for them to send my stuff to North Hollywood when I could pick it up in minutes if they offered a local pickup option (but I do understand why they don't).

Can't wait for my little droid to show up today!

Yeah, it's nuts. I'm done with R2 after this, just can't justify paying $250 for a HT R2, no matter what it does. The SSC is perfectly fine unless you want to obsess over the seam by staring at it on your shelf from 6 inches away.

Anyway, getting mine delivered today (maybe as I'm out of town) so I'll leave it up to you guys in Canada and Hawaii to show the way with this guy. Looking forward to initial reviews and pics.

I'm sure Wor-Gar and a few of us in Cali remember the days when we got these SSC SW figs next day and were able to provide first received feedback.

Oh yes, I remember those days man. SEAMS like I had something new coming in every week, but honestly I just don't order that much anymore so it's a different mindset for me now. I don't get too excited about being the first kid on the block with the shiny new toys anymore lol

Honestly he does to me too! sure he could be a little heavier, but that kinda thing never bothers me on any of these things - so I'm pleased as punch with the astromech
