we waited all this time what is a year i mean really. perfection can't be rushed. I do hope R2 is at least 7" tall if not 7.5"

6.75" seems like it will be just about perfect *IF* they produce a C-3PO at 11" - those scale measurements would match the heights given at Wookipedia - and the ratios would match the droid PF Sideshow released last year.

BUT - should this happen, the pair would probably be mis-proportioned when compared against other Sideshow figures and Hot Toys DX07 (they'd be too short). They'd be really bad against the already too tall Sideshow Vaders.

I think it's 11.5" - which would make it over-sized by the measurements at wookiepedia. But those measurements are not movie accurate. I'd prefer a taller R2 rather than Sideshow releasing a shorter 3PO later.

Looking forward to ordering this tomorrow, but i can't help but feel that he's going to be just the tip of the R2 iceburg, with sc releasing him, then following up with a dagobah paint variant, a tatooine paint variant, a prequel variant with rocket boosters.....
