Just follow Hasbros lead with their awesome Walrus Man. :rock

Yeah. I really want some Jawas, and a two pack is for certain I think.

that's the same jacket design like lukes ceremonial jacket from end of ANH

They must shop at the same store. :lol

Isn't that the X-Wing/Snowspeeder flight jacket from ESB also? They got that pattern on the sleeves too.

It has been commented on and we hope the seam will be fixed. There was no seam in the R2 PF so I'm sure the finished product will also have no seam.

I hope so.....but if not....yikes. It sure would surprise me to see all that detail and then for the dome seam to be overlooked. Yeesh.

They're sold out.
I remember waiting for the SDCC exclusive to go gift card eligible but Sideshow stuck to their guns. Ended-up getting one of the last sets and paid full retail.

Personally I'd have been happy to pay $250.00 - $300.00 for an R2 100% true to scale, a spun aluminium dome and more accurate lights, plus sound. Same time, as a one-time purchase, $150.00 is nothing to get the best 1:6 version of R2, yet, even with the flaws.

I'm thinking what this version means is that Tamashii 3PO might've tanked.

I must have missed something, what's the "seam" problem. I don't see it. :dunno
There most definitely is a very noticeable seam on R2's dome on most of SSC's shots, but for me it's not a deal killer. $150.00 is cheap in this hobby. There's a lot of ways one could minimize or disguise it, so it certainly wouldn't stop me from picking up R2.

I was wondering can a bare Astromech Droid without accessories and lights go as low as $80?

Planning to get those that are featured in the movies.

I can't see them releasing one at sub $99 even with all the bells and whistles removed.

The seam is unfortunate, plus the subtle chamfer on the lower corner of the eye surround is a strange addition.

Considering there is so much accurate, detailed information on R2 (like the amazing https://astromech.net/) I'm surprised this guy isn't spot on.

Excuse the metric scale, but at 171mm, this R2 will be too short. The R2 props built by Lucasfilm range from about 1.07m to 1.09m- so R2 should be around 180mm at 1/6.

Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to having him next to my Tamashii 3PO... but damn... a few little things would have made this awesome without the lingering thought of upgrading if a better option came along...

That being said, I hope Sideshow do the 1/6 3PO and he's proportionate to R2!
