Pretty pumped for mine. Ordered via Alter Ego, so may take a week to ten days longer since it goes to Sideshow first

No shipping for me. he didn't even charge yesterday as scheduled. Oh well. maybe on Monday he'll charge and ship.

Just got my email, apparently it shipped yesterday but judging by the tracking info, it'll probably be here on Tuesday as projected. I haven't seen any updates today but if it hits the Oakland hub Monday it'll take a day to run through that whole system before "out for delivery"

He's my last Sideshow toy ever. After R5, I'll only be getting two or maybe three more statues from Sideshow...

R5-D4 arrived this morning, but he's got a broken door so he'll be getting exchanged. If you've got R2-D2, you know what to expect with this guy. He's light and rickety-feeling with doors that refuse to stay closed.

He comes with two antennae in case one gets broken and two restraining bolts. And that's it!

You're right. What I should have said was they weren't operating doors like R2's. I prefer the look of the fixed panels on R5 as opposed to the hinged and moveable ones on R2.

Same here... while the feature is a cool idea, execution was poor and it made a straight-forward figure way more frustrating and fiddly then it needed to be. If they came out with a bare bones version of R2 with no opening panels and a better paint job I'd be all over it.

I think the bolt with Sideshow's Threepio is smaller too.
