"The Necronomicon, Marcus! Can you imagine what the Nazi's would do if they got their hands on it?"

:lol

Hey cereal keller, which version did you get regular or exclusive? I don't understand why your body is so loose, what I been reading, people have been receiving a tight body on theres, I wonder if it is only the exclusives that have this problem, anyone else, please give your thoughts

I should get mine within the next couple of hours:confused:

HAHAHA! :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl Nothing like some good Bruce Campbell humor!

Oh, I hope 'drunken Adventure Indy' doesn't look directly at 'Necronomicon Professor Indy'...there could be a rip in the space-time continuum that only the map from Time Bandits could help Indy return from...

Maaaaaarrrrrty!

Mine is the regular. Weird thing is joints seem to be tightening up the more you pose him!? I know I heard about that, but my neck and legs seem to be not as "floppy" as before. The key is you are forced to play with your toys:D

Ya know people, I noticed on the other thread that a guy reported that he got a really tight pro body. WTH!!! is going on with these, as for you ck, it's interesting that you say the joints are becoming tighter the more you futz with them, I'm confused, maybe it's the strange power of the ark causing this, even though, it doesn't come with the piece. lol :D

Great pics, thenammagazine! Looks like Indy may have already had a Grailful or two the way he is standing:lol

Here's some more pics I took yesterday. I apologize for the mostly poor quality shots. I am off tomorrow, so hopefully I will have the time, and the light to take some better ones. Maybe I will finally figure out how to use my camera to it's optimum ability as well.

Pjam, that shot you posted is incredible BTW! Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Medicom, totally pwned! (I still like him though)

Indy w/Medicom Henry Sr. (slouching a bit, though I realize now it looks like he is trying to grab his dad's @$$)

Terrible pic, but I love this pose:

Clearest pic I took all day:

My hatless head (kind of heavy on the eyeliner)

The only other really good pic I took:

My exclusive Indy, arrived yesterday, was a bit floppy, the head in particular was pretty weak and would drop to the chest if anything less than a straight-up position was attempted. But just as others have said, he seems to be a lot better today. The head moves very smoothly, but holds its position. And he stands perfectly fine in quite a few poses.

I was a bit nervous at first when I got him out of the box and was already thinking about how I wanted to go about correcting it, but all I ended up needing to do was wait a day for the plastic to swell a bit...or whatever we think the self-solution might be.

As I've mentioned, if you push down on the head the neck joints tighten up. The body just feels different compared to most 1/6, but holds a pose pretty well.

Indy should be here next tuesday... gah damn holidays!

Plus CSC charged me twice for him, had to call and get that fixed, none to pleased to find so much money gone

I saw you mention that a couple times and not quite sure what you mean. Of course, I may have inadvertently done just what you describe when swapping heads. But I didn't notice any 'clicking' into place.

And I agree, that's a good way to describe it. I think a lot of the concerns were simply reactions to a body that feels different and takes a little getting used to.

In your opinion dm, how tight do the joints seem, any body joints floppy around, anyone else please share your thoughts

He holds any pose but when you hold him, the articulation shifts a bit. It's almost like picking up a limp person. But they can hold their weight just fine.

These pics are killing me!!! :monkey5

I shall make a pact with god as (rene said in ROLA) to send me one with a tight body. lol:lol

should be soon.:banghead

Again, not accurate, but I could really care less. He works for me and was an easy custom with a TrueType body, Giles suit/glasses, Dragon dress shoes, Q-tip shaft for chalk and, a certain something borrowed...

Got mine today and overall pretty happy.
Thanks to Trevor for creating the best Indy sculpt ever (...he had a lot of competition)
Thanks to Sideshow for the decision to include 2 sculpts of this great piece. Kudos for a terrific hat sculpt, great pants, cool gloves and shoes.
(I may not convert to the Newlines!)
Combined with my Sovereign studios Jacket, holster and whip and Toys McCoy shirt I may now at long last have the perfect 1/6th Indy.
On the down side he needs better paint ops and and a HT body.

Thanks again Trev.:whip

Was the Giles' tie easy to convert to bowtie status?
