Only problem is that hand isn't in scale with the other.

Yeah, it really looks horrible there, doesn't it? :lol

I don't know what you're talking about, it looks great on the shelf IMO and makes a terrific idol hand display option. So there. :lol

I guess all the > and < stuff would be relevant if this were a TDK thread? :huh But since it's the Sideshow 1/6 ROTLA Indiana Jones Image Thread and not a men-in-tights thread:

Yeah, let's see some more pics guy!

justinluck, why no pics? Just the jacket? And no, my jacket is even on the collar, and the zipper right side (if wearing it) is a tad longer than the left (opposite of yours).

Did some work on mine today, repaint and weathering. Sad thing is that the jacket cannot be weathered... but still I am very happy with the outcome. These pics suck something awful, but I will take better ones tomorrow if I can.

DAMN!!! That looks great! Weathering on the shirt and pants look perfect. Here's my current position for him. Can't stop repositioning him. Went for the natural pose for now. It's weird, Indy grows on you. At first I was so disappointed, now he's one of my favorite SS figures.

Lookin' good. I really wish this had a sculpted neck though.

In the end, that seems like a good idea. Most people have him standing like the PF and the added articulation isn't utilized. In theory though, this is a character where you can use the extra neck poseability to make more interesting poses.

I personally like the non sculpted neck, but would have been just as satisfied if it had been sculpted.

So I guess I dont care either way :lol

Damn, Josh! That is one heck of a nice repaint. And the weathering to the shirt and pants! whoa! Man that's nice! Your stubble choice is excellent! I don't like seeing too much skin coloration above his upper lip (as is the case with the production piece). It's nice to have the shade go right down to them. fantastic...
the hat is also a perfect color....

...and the eyes. :D the list goes on and on..really great job, man! thanks for the pics!

Thanks Trev! Since I saw that first teaser shot of your sculpt, I have been waiting for just this moment to get him and paint the heck out of it.

The stubble actually took the most time, I painted 4 layers of varying color to give it the depth I wanted and to blend it. I am very happy with how it came out. I even did hair on his chest, though not that much. Tomorrow's pics will show that I hope.

The shirt and pants were fun, I sanded them, used paint and tamiya weathering sticks to give them some fun effects.

I just got mine today as well and made a few changes. The hat was painted the proper color, the shirt was dyed for more of a grey look to it, the face was touched up and more stubble added. I also added Shawn's Custom Indy figs whip, since the coiled version of mine doesn't fit, and I think it looks better. I'll weather it with some fuller's earth next, and fix the jacket straps and the metal belt keeper. Great figure on it's own but a little custom work makes it truely Indy.

I tried dave;s sugestion on just pushing the neck on tighter to fix the looseness. . it's ok, for the un-hatted head. the head with the hat, however, is simply to heavy. it flops and flops :( I put an asian true type neck on him that i happened to have. the color is wrong, but it works for now.
