hehe excellent. Yea the $170 is gonna kill me this month, especially with PZ Pf coming but oh well I planned for this (for this most part ).

Hehe, yeah, I have Toht Exclusive, 1/6 Vader, HT Iron Man Mark II, HT Iron Man Mark III (SDCC Gunmetal Grey), and 1/6 Han and Luke Stormtroopers (SDCC) all due in the next month. That's like $1000 worth of figures!

Plus I have Han in Carbonite environment, 1/6 Old Ben Kenobi and Loading Toys Vagrant set, plus 2 True-Type bodies on the way to me now - That's about $350 already this month - + shipping and taxes!



But I MUST get them all...and I MUST TOUCH THE TOHT!!!

I've ordered and cancelled him twice now. After picking up the HT Hellboy and Abe just a month before Vader, Han ST and Luke ST arive I was forced to make some cuts to my preorders.

Oh well, I'd rather have other versions of Indy anyway.

So looking at the photo in the newsletter, HOW THE HELL CAN SSC THINK THAT THOSE GLASSES ARE ALRIGHT? They have to be so embarrassed to show those photos. I really need some replacement ones ASAP.

As far as I can tell it's just the pole coverings that are different from the proto pics.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it already, but if you're going for the "Nepal Bar Scene with the iron poker" display on your shelf, be sure to carefully cut the threads that hold down the lapels of Toht's jacket and flip the collar up.

I am still glad I canceled this one. SS should have pushed it back months if they had to, to fix it. I guess we are going to be seeing Toht around on the SS site for a long time.

Disagree, besides the glasses Toht fing rocks. The ark is a little lack luster but Toht is so badass. Loving this figure.

I have to concur. The glasses are the only major flaw. The moment after I ordered Toht, I went searching for a better pair of specs and found these:

They work perfectly for Toht, and raise the figure to the quality level it should have attained when assembled in the factory. And they look alot better in hand than they do in the linked photo, as well.

I got mine in this week... after replacing the specs with photetched ones from an old DML german figure I am VERY pleased... planning out some kind of vignette to build with this one now.. I did the base camp for Indy.. Belloq in Jungle gear... I am not 100% sure what I want to do with Toht yet... maybe just do a custom Nepal bar sherpa and have a display scene with two figures.... we'll see... man I love this line of figures !!!
