Sideshow 1/6 ROTLA Toht image thread

I got mine in this week... after replacing the specs with photetched ones from an old DML german figure I am VERY pleased... planning out some kind of vignette to build with this one now.. I did the base camp for Indy.. Belloq in Jungle gear... I am not 100% sure what I want to do with Toht yet... maybe just do a custom Nepal bar sherpa and have a display scene with two figures.... we'll see... man I love this line of figures !!!

Eager to see what you ultimately do... but in the mean time, I'd love to see what you got now, with those new glasses.

I gotta say, I'm really enjoying Toht a lot more than I thought I would! He turned out great and looks especially good with Indy and Belloq!

Mine arrived today. Only real problems are the shirt collar, the neck color and I just wish the trench coat had a real belt that could pull it tighter.

It was either posted a few pages back in this thread or the other one. I can dig it up a little later if no one else buts in.

They are nice but I honestly don't think the prod ones are that bad on him.

Thanks. I did some digging and couldn't find the name. But I'll keep looking.

The prod ones are OK, but I'd rather get those nice slim-frame gold ones if they're not too much.

I think they were like $4. They are definitely nice but a little short so you have to do a little bending and basically straightening out the ends that would hook around the ears.

Yes, I did find the post and link: Col. Ito it is. Unfortunately, the first run cleared out the few available. Have to wait for another group.

I don't like that the temples have to be bent straight so much, but the frame itself looks better to me. Anyway, it might be awhile before I can get my hands on a pair of these.

That is why I ultimately didn't go with them.
