You've spent enough time here ya think you'd have seen one of the HUNDREDS of posts where we've all swapped him over to TrueTypes. Less time yapping, more time reading!

Oh I know. I know. But I couldnt convert it to a TT. The only TT's I have are not only on a body, but the asian edition. Making them impossible to mix with Indy. So....feh.

Just picked up this Toht and Ark Exclusive Set from Sideshow. I know there are flaws but overall, Toht and the Ark look terrific in hand. The detail is great and the accessories for Toht are perfect.

As others have said, the glasses look better in person.

The flaws are certainly there and I do not want to be a apologist but this a great set and I'm really, really happy with it!

My co-workers love it and it sets off dozens of conversations about Raiders.

In the end, if you're on the fence, have read all the posts and seen all the pictures and are still considering it, I would pull the trigger or ask for it for Christmas. It's excellent and I love having it.

Had a go at repainting my Toht. I think I actually made him look worse than he was At least he's not almost black anymore.

Not bad. This is the first repaint I've seen and I'm tempted now.

Suggestion: lose the blue eyes and make the lips bigger (meaning fill them up to the real lines of the sculpt, maybe even over the line a but -- dude had big lips).

Thanks As for blue eyes, I could only find one pick where you could actually see their colour and they look blue:

You're right about the lips. I'll try to fix it tomorrow.

I can't seem to find a pic of is eyes. They might be blue, but certainly not that brilliant.

Too bad Sideshow didn't sulpt his eyes more squinted, which you give him a more sinister look like in those pics.
