IN MY OPINION one is a limited edition fantastic looking collectable statue and the other one is a plastic toy that looks ok from a distance but pretty poor close up. Just hope there are no quality issues with this piece. I ordered the EX within minutes of it being available and I have what I consider to be the best pred statue ever made, the CM.

If there is a PF pred in the future do you guys really think it would be the most expensive PF ever made? I couldn't see it selling for more than the very expensive colossus @ $400.

Oh yeah...it's gonna be more than $400.

All of the dreads, the netting, the separate armor pieces...much more costly to make than the Colossus.

Yeah, very true. I really like the statue. I wish I could afford the SS maquette, but this is a great statue at a great price.

To my eye the three most accurate P1 sculpts are SS/SWS 1:1 bust, the SS/SWS 1:4 maquette, and Tankman's 19 inch "toy".
The fact that it didn't cost hundreds of dollars does not change the fact that the sculpt is fantastic and outshines most of it's counterparts regardless of price. Not a Neca fanboy btw. I am a Stan Winston P1 fanboy, and would love to hear any specifics on how the sculpt on this is in any way superior or even equal to the toy

Yes, even NECA's figures has it's faults... Probably more than the others you mentioned. It's all apples and oranges.

anybody that knows anything about the P1 would agree with that, not sure if the bust counts cause it's from the original molds though. I hope to get the P1 is every scale 1:4 and up.

Not sure if this has been answered, but does anyone know if Sideshow will be including the spinal collumn trophie that is clearly
missing on this statue?? Thanks..

Oh, my bad.

Yeah, people were talking about it earlier in this thread..guess they just forgot.

It is Sideshow afterall.

I sent them an email...I'll be sure to post their reply..

Dear Visitor,

Thank you for submitting a question to the Sideshow Collectibles creative team. We have received the following information:

Name: Paul

Question:
Hi Sideshow,
I was just wondering why the upcoming Predator 1/5 scale statue is missing a vital movie accurate accesory??? There should be a spinal column trophy hanging around the predators waist. The older smaller diorama has it, the 1/4 scale maquette has it, Hot toys predator has it and even the cheaper Neca 1/4 scale figure has it. It would be such a shame to leave something as important as this off the statue. Please include it, it is very important to the hardcore fans and it would make my decision to purchase this much more easier.
Thank you Sideshow.
Paul.
P.S please take a look at this link

Thanks azurepred. I'll give Sideshow a chance to respond to my
email first. If I don't get a response in a weeks time I'll use that
