Not sure why they've gone with 1/5th. If it was 1/4 it would be more tempting.

But the pose is pretty poor, especially when compared with the previous dio:

Is the spine trophy really not going to be included?

When compared to the dio, it looks inferior. No tubes, skull necklaceand trophy thing on his body, even the wrist blades look off. Just hope they fix this puppy before release.

The Predator Maquette released a couple of years ago was 1/4. I'm sure they'll release another 1/4 further down the line.

Yeah they would. But will it match the quality and detailing of the original one? I highly doubt it!

Time certainly flies! I wasn't into Pred stuff at that time and missed out on the Maquette. Hoping for another 1/4 scale Pred Maquette from SS.

I do have the Ex of the 1/5 Statue on PO and will be keeping my PO for sure. After all, I already paid the 10% NRD!

Agree the bio just looks off to me and the unmasked EX sculpt looks quite nice.

ditto, i think people are way too harsh on this statue, the ex looks great with the unmasked head and bloody skull. And i like the pose, fits the classic predator well as it's almost taunting you. And it's 20" tall even at 1/5 scale. Comparing to the ss falconer/tracker/berserker crap they released, it's night and day.

It will be one of those statues everyone didnt order - influenced by strong assumptions from threads like this, then regret later and ended up getting it from the flippers.

And even if they release another 1/4, i doubt it will be the classic version again...

It looks great for me! Seen a few people say bits are missing but its only the spine trophy.

Go onto the website and look on the zoom gallery, all the piping is there even the hoses from the mask are there.

The smaller dio is a better pose but they aren't going to do the same pose again and I'm more than happy with this pose. I know the maquette is loved but i never liked the pose on it at all.

I want the EX for the bloody trophy but i will display masked.

Gotta say though, i would have preferred any of these two poses more.

!n hand he will look awesome for sure even !n picS hE !s looking n!ce .........! m sure they will make 1/4 wiTh different pose again.....but first they will go through each predator..... n circle starts again....but in between too much time gap...
