Seriously?! Looks great to me.
If you're not happy because it's not 100% accurate either display the unmasked portrait, which looks great, or don't buy.

All right sparky calm down.

Just pointing out its not as perfect as i wished it was and I'm hoping that they made a tweak to get it more accurate.

More accuracy.....that's not a bad thing is it?

Not at all..I'm still hopeing Sideshow add the spinal column trophy.

Wolf Ex is a must too. Might as well. They're the same price.

Not for us poor folks in the U.K
We have to add V.A.T @ 20% and a £10 Fed Ex Handling fee.
Probably work out about £20 cheaper buying from a local retailer so it's trying to decide if buying the Ex is worth the bit extra.
You get both portraits with the regular which would be the deal breaker. Wish they kept to unmasked portrait for all the Ex's in this line.
Also easier to return if there is a problem with the local retailer.
If the Ex has a much smaller edition size I'll probably pay the extra, if I get it that is.
If I'm not blown away with the Classic Pred I'll leave it at that.

Does anyone know the edition size of the regular Classic Pred? Can't find it on their site.
Ex is 750, still available to my surprise.
Assume the Wolf will be the same edition sizes?

The spinal trophy would be a nice addition but the sculpt you see is probably the sculpt you will get.

Regular Predator is not up yet. No one knows. I doubt it with Wolf. As with the Alien lines all edition sizes are different. Probably has something to do with the popularity of the designs.

Sideshow is getting too happy with the edition sizes with their Predator products, the legendary scale bust is still in stock and the Berserker bust doesn't look like it's going to sell out anytime soon.

The Classic Predator, which I was referring to, was released for order about a year ago. Couldn't find it one their site.
Thanks for the link. 2000 regular when 750 Ex's haven't even sold?! :rotfl

the way i see this could be the last time they do this franchise, so keeping the edition large keeping in mind new collectors joining the hobby 4-5 years or nearer down the line or we could hear collectors like Dhaval complaing daily od sideshow facebook page, we need a new spidey comiq, we need a new cap pf, we need a new thor pf, we are new collectors we also want,,, so so :dunno

The only people buying the regular will be the retailers. The regular for the Classic is a complete fail. If the Ex is still available I think they must of sold zero regs.
Maybe that's why the Wolf comes with both portraits?

by the way if the es for the regular is 2000 pieces than i wonder what the es will be for the other predators in this line...

well Predator sells as good as IM, and most ppl can't or refuse to drop close to 3k for the original, so I can see why they would put a huge ES on this. The LSB had a huge ES, so I guess this will be around for awhile too.

It's very clear part of sideshow's strategy is to make their products mainstream instead of a highly limited collectible. By having a 2000 ES it basically turns the reg into a store shelf product instead of a limited edition collectible, so anyone down the road who wants a pred can just walk in (figurative speaking) and pick it up.

As others said predator is a very popular toon with lasting appeal, their strategy is always to have a few predator for sale when people wants it, same goes for the highly popular stormtrooper pf. It's not a bad business plan, and they do have the exclusive edition to satisfy the collectors like us.

We have to keep in mind the freaks are just a small (but vocal)part of their business, most people who buys this stuff doesnt know the difference between a reg vs ex if the extra head walked in & hit them in the face...nor will they understand the inaccuracies or paint issues. All they will see is a cool predator and wants it or as a gift for someone.
