Even Sideshow is concerned about the sell through on these, that's why they gave it the "limited" number. They probably took a look at the sales of how many customers bought Boba Fett/IG-88/Bossk and and averaged it to 2000 for 4-LOM's production. They are banking that there are 2000 customers that want to complete the Bounty Hunter set. If 4-LOM doesn't sell out, don't expect to see Zuckuss or Dengar.

If it does sell out, expect to pay high dollars for Zuckuss and Dengar, as they are all one-off figures that SS won't be able to recoup costs by making variants where 4-LOM is pretty much just a variant of Threepio.

It's a shame Sideshow probably won't re-release IG-88 and Bossk like they did Boba. Those are two cool looking figures that I really wish I had gotten now, and the only ones available now cost way more than I want to spend.

Undisclosed edition sizes are a very recent development for this line.

LOL. I happen to like 4-LOM and I think the price sucks. However, it's quite a bit less than what I was expecting. I'm happy about it over-all. I was just kidding too.

I'm a little torn - I was expecting to pass on it and marvel at the mediocrity. But I like it and the price is less than I thought too. Now I'm just waiting for it to go coupon eligible.

But he is pretty obscure, and yet is still around what the HT heroes cost. I understand it's mostly reuse so lower risk, but I really hope SSC isn't using this fig as a bounty hunter sales litmus test. That should have been Dengar. I really want a SSC Dengar, so hope this sells well (but not too well that it seels out before coupon elgibility.)

To me Dengar is an easy figure for sideshow to produce. They already have the parts for his armor (snow/stormtroopers).

For whatever reason I have never been as fascinated by the bounty hunters as a lot of star wars fans. But I would probably still buy them all if there was any sort of continuity/availability. I will likely pass on all but HT Boba simply because I want all or none. As it is they are kinda like a risky subscription kit that could be canceled at any time or may take over a decade to complete.

I'd preorder Dengar in a minute. Did you ever read 'Tales of the Bounty Hunters'? I didn't care for Dengar much before that, but he became my second-favorite guy after that...plus it elevated EVERY bounty hunter to me after reading.

Before reading that book, I knew next to nothing about any of the other bounty hunters but that book enlightened me. I wish Disney hadn't killed off the EU because I would have loved more stories about them.
