When there isn't nrd I wonder what their cancellation percentage is? 30 percent?

I was never one to pre order a bunch of figures just to cancel but this seemed like a good one to jump on before they added the nrd. I do like the look of him so far but there's still a decent chance I could end up canceling. Glad I don't have to commit.

There's something really wrong with the chest sculpting.

Can't quite articulate what, but when you look at photos of the actual costume, the SSC looks very severe.

Yeah, the chest sculpt isn't quite screen accurate (angled lines a bit too steep and straight) but the head/helmet is very nice.

Though I guess you could argue the only difference between this and 3PO (other than paint) is a new head and the six plates added to the chest, so maybe a touch of SSC's usual "just get it kinda right" approach to accuracy is in play.:dunno

So it should look screen accurate but do stuff the costumes couldn't do?

I do like the option of the extreme poses but I don't like it when they intrude into your ability to capture the character as he is onscreen. An example is IG-88 where they altered his design for more articulation - for me that's a no-no. IG didn't need to be able to do jumping jacks.

There's an nrd now.

... and it's a new low in terms of price level to have an NRD. When SSC started, it was $225-30 (it varied,) then it started to hit $220 items, this one is the first I've seen in the $210 range.

What this means is that all SSC figs going forward will have an NRD because the days of any SSC fig being below $200 are over.

They've added a NRD to the At-At driver fairly recently as well. It didn't have one when it first went up

It's kind of off-putting how inconsistent it all is. I mean seriously, there's that much of a difference between an item for $200 (no NRD) and one for $220 (needs the NRD)? Just put it on everything or something.

I agree. I don't have a problem with the NRD but it should be consistent.

Seems if you get your order in early enough there's no NRD. I've done that quite a few times.

Now you have your figure secured while awaiting the opportunity of a $20 code.

It should be on everything, plain and simple, drop the price on everything 20$ ditch thos stupid 20$ codes and run your business on sales
