I don't know why folks keep saying this will just be a new head with Threepio's body. The arms may be the same (and maybe part of the legs), but the torso is distinctly different from Threepio.

Yup. Head and torso all the way down to the wired midsection are different. Limbs look the same.

Noticed that his thumbs might be right.

My understanding was that 4-LOM was literally just a complete 3PO body, but they glued 3 pairs of Gargan robo-boobs on the front. Other than the head and those six glued on flaps, everything else is exactly the same but recolored.

I would be interested if they re-release Bossk and IG-88 but without having those 2 what's the point of buying 4-Lom (or even Zuckuss)

Bossk is still pretty easy to get around retail. Even IG-88 is available at retail sometimes too.

IG-88 is really awesome.

He is awesome on the shelf but he cant hold his guns worth a damn. Even with that little support peg they sit poorly in his pincers. The actual prop couldn't hold his guns correctly either though so it is pretty screen accurate. Not sure about all these magnetic mines and what not but fun extras that you will never see with a Sideshow release again.

So... how do you re-release a unique sculpt/mold figure that only sold for $175 in today's market?

I mean how do you only charge $175-185 for a complex figure like IG, when he's selling on the same website with a bare bones Luke X for $240 and Luke Snowspeeder for $270?

This is the problem when you start going further back than say three years for re-releases. The prices were just so much lower. What do you do? Jack the price by $50 just to make the new prices seem okay? Even at $225 IG would seem cheap today.

Like they usually do, release a few R2 variants, up the price, and remove the stand.
