I like this a lot and these images are great.

I really want to preorder this (I'm never again missing out on Alien statues/busts etc., I always regret not getting something and then ending up buying it for 3x its original price from another collector) but I can't for the life of me figure out where to put it. From what I understand it won't fit on an Expedit type depth shelf (~15 inches). So I need to find something to display it on (perhaps a small table or something). A pity, since it would look terrific next to the LS busts.

When I saw the prototype pics, I couldn't help but pre-ordered one. However, I'm dreading that the final product will face the same fate as the Godzilla Marquette. I really hope they do this one right. $600 isn't cheap. The price points at Sideshow has become somewhat unreasonable recently. If you're going to charge a lot for your product, at least deliver superior results.

I think you're right. In hindsight, I probably should have waited. This is only my second order with Sideshow, so I'm learning. My first was Godzilla and I had to cancelled that one already.

I just saw Prometheus again cause they had it on TV over the weekend. That movie is a mess. I heard there's a sequel in the works. Yikes. They should have left the franchise alone after Alien 3.

If you look at Prometheus as a standalone movie, it's really not that bad, but as a prequel to the franchise, it just doesn't fit well. What bothered me the most was making the space jockey head a space suit mask. We all know that was not the intention in the original Alien.

It is possible yet that they are different species, or sub species. I think ultimately it came down to practicality and final product, an Engineer the size of the original Jockey would have had to be CGI, and nobody wants that. I loved Prometheus myself, I think the people who really hated it assumed it would be an Alien prequel, it isn't really. I also loved the Engineers and look forward to seeing more of them, didn't like the Deacon at all though...

I like the movie a good amount. I was just a little let down though after seeing it as the trailer is probably the best trailer I've ever seen and made it seem like the movie would be the greatest movie of all time

Prometheus is tedious to watch. Even the fan edits. And I still think that SS gun, telescope, whatever is a bit too small.

It's way too small. In the movie the figure is pretty small in comparison to the equipment he's seated in.

I don't think it's far off to be fair, if you looked at it in person without reference pictures of the original, you'd think it was pretty close I'm sure. I would like to buy this, it is only the large size giving me trouble...
