The filming process will stretch the image, so you can't always go by what you see on the screen. I've seen this happen with Star Wars when comparing helmets. That's why I used a photo for comparison.

This piece is already massive and as Python demonstrated people are have enough trouble finding space for it as is.

Sideshow definitely made it a bit smaller for practicalities sake and it's still HUGE!

I just saw Prometheus again cause they had it on TV over the weekend. That movie is a mess. I heard there's a sequel in the works. Yikes. They should have left the franchise alone after Alien 3.
:lecture 100% truth.
I liked the mystery surrounding the space jockey. They were more menacing iny mind.

In my opinion, Prometheus falls in the same category as the AVP movies (though better executed). "Nice to watch, but not to be considered as canon".

Any predictions on if this will release in January? Seems everything is pushed at least a month later than listed. I had two SS statues pushed a month later, yesterday.

I would be shocked if this guy was actually ready to ship by Jan. I'm guessing March.

It's getting close to release date. Can't wait to see production pics. I just hope it won't be disappointing like Godzilla. This bad boy ain't cheap you know.

I've been paying for mine via the SS instalments plan, and I got an email this morning that the last payment (which was supposed to be in Jan) will now be taken at the end of March, so those saying March are pretty much spot on.

Man, the Godzilla screw up eroded Sideshow's brand image big time. What a shame. I bought it and returned it when I saw the production picture. I was really excited when it came out, but that paint job was inexcusable.
