The box is huge aint it?

Be careful putting on the tail. I found if you put it on the alien first then putting him on the base was the easiest.

I did the opposite. But either way, be careful with the tail. I read somewhere that someone's arm dropped off and fell all the way to the floor, but was unharmed. Still, be careful. I love my Alien Warrior.

Thanks guys, I didnt have time to open him yet cause I had to run to a meeting. Cant wait to get home tonight though to unpack this guy. I will do what some of you suggested. I'll stick him in the base first, then put in his tail, then put in his arms

Well...finally got this open. And after looking this over for a bit. SS has once again succeeded and WOWING me.............with their underwhelming QC

Everything about this piece is awesome....EXCEPT the face. Of ALLL things to have an issue...it had to be the face
Not only is their a nice small chip right in the middle of his forehead, theirs also a pretty bad rub mark just above it that sticks out like a sore thumb. The flash kinda washes out the detail, but trust me...its there. Also the slimy tendon things on the right side of his face are not even glued to his face properly. It actually sticks out from the side of his face with an obvious gap when looking at it side on.
Yayyyy....I get to play the replacment game again

Also something a little strang, the box is was shipped in is numbered 533 but the base is numbered 553.....hmm

That sucks man. I remember when they first shipped...the dome was where most had problems. Either chips, or rubs, or scratches. I got mine from ebay for a lot cheaper and took a risk of not being able to replace it. Thankfully...mine showed up mint.

Finally received my backordered Aliens Warrior Maquette (#641/750) yesterday and it was worth the wait. Got this through an online retailer so I was able to save a little money. It's an impressive piece and I dig the size, pose and sculpt on this one...can't wait until the Alien "Big Chap" joins my collection next year
