Premium Format Sideshow amazing spider-man 2 collectibles

I've been very anxious to own a Spidey statue but there hasn't been anyone that wowed me other than the Iron spider one. I want a "classic" costume Spidey piece though and I'm hoping this one will be the one.

I read over at SF that this WON'T have a museum pose, which is what I was hoping for. They sound excited by it though. Definitely excited.

anyone here not feeling the new Spidey outfit in the upcoming movie ASM2? Now that Sideshow have announced a Premium Format, would you rather of had the older suit from Spiderman 3 instead?

Only interested in comic version for Spider-Man.

the great thing about the new movie Costume is it looks a lot like the comic version. So if they sculpt it right you wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless you looked at the bottom of the Base.

if SS do a good job with this, this could be my 1st movie PF.

I'm normally strictly comic only but for me this is the best movie Spidey suit yet. Hopefully they don't wright Spiderman 2 on the base

Same here, I also prefer comic... but we shall see how this turns out... Ironman was successful, as it didn't show the human face(as oppose to Thor, Captain A, Black Widow, etc) I assume ... Maybe Spidey will turn out well, because he is in all custom as well.

I'm glad we're getting ASM2 for the PF and not the old suit. Mainly for the black lines and eyes.

Although the rounder web lines and the overall web pattern on the old one are more comic accurate, those silver lines annoyed me.

I expect it later but would be pleasantly surprised if it does make it. Either way it'll be a while before we get this in hand.

It was cool that MOS made it in time and Cap is up before the movie, and I believe Hulk Maquette was early, too (or at least we saw it early, don't remember) but historically it seems most movie PFs/Maquettes fall behind the movie release... most if not all of the Iron Man pieces were well after the movie. I don't remember for Thor or Cap:TFA. But it seems they're mostly after the movie, sometimes after even the DVD release...Iron Man Mk 42 from IM3 had a brief sneak but still hasn't gone up for PO

Yea, I'm interested in this Spidey PF too...like so many have said, I wonder what pose they will go for on this one? I'm hoping for proper kick a$$ diorama style base similar to what we've seen recently with the Keaton Bats PF

Yeah I love that Keaton Bats but I probably won't get it to be honest. Sticking to comic PF's helps me not going mental & ordering everything

I'm still waiting for my Comic Batman PF from ComixBizar. I can't wait for that to come, that's what my collection will be built around

But talking about Spiderman I would make an exception. Especially if he has a kick *** diorama base like what your hoping for & the fully cloth rumour has me excited

Not a rumor, Dave Igo confirmed fully cloth on the other forum. We'll see if that changes since SSAlex said it probably won't be ready in time for the movie.

Seeing in IMAX tonight!!!! I absolutely can't wait!

Really I think the movie will be just ok, not terrible but not great. Just an ok action flick. But at the end of the day I just LOVE SPIDEY!!!

And Amazing Spider-Man #1 hit yesterday, this is a great week for Spidey!!!


Now, I NEED to see something from this PF... This PF is more critical to me than the actual movie! I hope it turns out AMAZING!!!! I'm so overly ready for it... while at the same time we're just getting another look at Iron Man Mk 42 and IM3 has been on DVD for a while now... I hope the wait for Spidey isn't nearly that long

I'm the opposite. Just got back and loved it. Best Spider-Man movie to date, IMO. Definitely had its flaws, but raised the bar nonetheless.

If MOS suit comes out as good as the prototype pictures show and if SS uses the same factory to do the Spider-Man 2 PF with its 100% fabric outfit then the outlook is good on this one..

I agree, if you don't think about other superhero movies, like the 10/10 Cap the winter soldier... This movie was atleast a 7. Very good movie, I also enjoyed it most compared to all Spidey films to date. They are doing the action perfect! And spideys fighting style and banter perfect Just like the first ASM). The only thing I found flawed were basic movie mistakes, and story flaws.
