My expectations weren't too high so I'm not let down.

This movie had some nice highs (Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone's performances) and some deep lows (Electro in name and powers only, most other story elements not involving Peter and Gwen).

It was what I thought. It wasn't terrible. But it wasn't very good. Just a passable action flick. One day my Spidey will be done true justice on film!!!!

But Spider-Man himself has never looked better in action. The swinging, the movements, the fighting, the display of his abilities... They completely nailed that much. Those scenes of him swinging and leaping in 3D are the most life in the whole film. Electro's powers were done well, too, even if nothing else about him was done well.

But I got this poster and it's pretty cool:

Still, bring on the PF!!!

This movie has not decreased my want for it!

I agree, if you don't think about other superhero movies, like the 10/10 Cap the winter soldier... This movie was atleast a 7. Very good movie, I also enjoyed it most compared to all Spidey films to date. They are doing the action perfect! And spideys fighting style and banter perfect Just like the first ASM). The only thing I found flawed were basic movie mistakes, and story flaws.

The romance btw Gwen n Peter was too much and repetitive, and the villain was just not interesting. Action scene movement were nice for sure.

I was disappointed in the movie to be honest, it's an OK summer flick but the bar for superhero movies has been raised the last several years and this one defiantly falls short. It felt like it was made for people who have ADHD... The movie actually tired me out watching it. If they would of slowed down the pace, added in more story and maybe removed one of the villains from the script it would of been a lot better.... It kind of had the same problem that Spider-Man 3 had where it just had to many villains in it..

I was reading that this movie was actually rushed out because if Sony didn't push the franchise forward they would lose the rights to Spider-Man back to Marvel. Which IMO would be awesome, I think Marvel/Disney would do a better job then Sony...

It didn't help the writers of Spider-Man 2 were the same ones who wrote Transformers 2

I'd give it 6/10

That really sucks but I can't be too surprised. Too many villains. I would prefer focus on one, maybe 2 and give them some real substance.

High hopes for this one guys not many people know but Spidey is secretly my second favourite Marvel character after Iron Man so this will hopefully be my 3rd Spidey in my collection

I'm the opposite. Just got back and loved it. Best Spider-Man movie to date, IMO. Definitely had its flaws, but raised the bar nonetheless.

Really enjoyed the new movie. Spider-man 2 is still my favorite but this was very good. Not perfect but very entertaining and well done. Had some great moments. Had the villains been done a bit better (no Electro and Just Goblin would have been perfect IMO) then this could have been my fav. Spider-man film.

I hate 3D movies but this one was awesome. Electro was better than I thought he would be. Goblin was kind of dumb. Rhino was badass but the ending with him pissed me off. I think the rhino suit is really cool. My favorites are still raimi Spider-Man 1 and 2, but this movie is pretty damn good too. I didn't get the sneak peek during the credits. Aren't they supposed to have something to do with the movie you just watched??

I believe it was the artwork from the 12 days of Christmas that SS does every year when they announce something new each day. The Spider-Man 2 PF was one of them..
