Was just checking out Sideshow's online SDCC page and there's a contest that just started today to win a Figrin D'an and a Cantina table/chair set. Would be a nice little addition to anyone setting up that dio.

For some reason, the thumbnail pic on top left of page for the Cantina set shows the larger Band Nook Cantina environment, but ignore that (has been that way for a while). Contest is just for those table/chairs and Figrin.

Thinking back, I remember when the 12-inch Bith members were being released by Hasbro through Wal-mart and how hard they were to find. I remember thinking back then that I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to buy the whole band at $20 a piece. It just seemed crazy to pay $100 for the set. LOL

Haha, yeah, just crazy how much detailing and prices have evolved over the last two or three years.

I've decided to pass on the Nodes since they're just not essential but jumped on this as getting D'an and a Cantina set for shipping would be all I'd need of this band for representation. I'll let the good ol' Force decide if my shelves will ever see a Node... well, that or a $50.00 gift card from SSC. $49.99 for D'an would be OK, too.

I must have went to Wal-Mart every morning for two months looking for those things. Only thing that took longer to find was the Han / Taun Taun TRU exclusive. I'm passing on the SSC versions because the old Hasbro ones mean a lot to me just because of the pursuit

Got my set today of Tedn D'hai and Nalan Cheel but I got 2 fanfar and no Bandfill . The factory must have just inserted the wrong tray.

Can't imagine this happening with a worse set since now the dealers have to deal with it. But judging from this thread it's not a rampant problem.

With the recent cheaper releases of these guys. Contemplating whether through various discounts and such is it worth getting the 5 for the $400.

I'm going for all 5. I think they'd look better as a full on grouping.

I know... I know, it's the same figure! But the sets are actually Exclusives. Besides I'm only interested in the ANH Tatooine offerings. So my collection isn't that big...yet.

Make sure to take some pics. Would love to see how everyone's configuring their Cantina stuff. Definitely if I decided to focus on one SW planet, it would be Tatooine. A lot of great characters/creatures and tons of variety.

Thanks for the pic, McFly. Looking good! They definitely look better as a group of 3, 5 or 7, I think (as opposed to my plan of just having D'an). I'll have to break down at some point and get at least three. Really liking the SDCC duo but it's great to see the variety of instruments amongst all five.
