Anyone here who got the ex going to display it as the regular? I love the knife but I realllly love the cross bow.

Guess I will have to feel it out once she arrives. Tomorrow cannot come fast enough!

Thanks guys! I'll most likely ask for a replacement. The eye doesn't bother me that much, its the 2 holes in the arm, the rough area around the nose, and the scratch in the hand that really bug me....even without it magnified 20x.

I would love to see all the faith statue you guys got once they get delivered!

I'm leaning more towards the cross-bow. I'm all 'knife'd-out' with the Faith Tikis.

The cross bow is also bigger and has more of a wow appeal. That's how I feel from the photos anyways. I need to see her in hand before I can decide.

Got me ex today! I gotta say, I REALLY love this statue. By far the best piece in the line, IMO. Got mine displayed with the knife since it's so signature Faith, but the crossbow also looks bad-ass.
And unless I go and stare at her face through a magnifying glass (which is just silly), the eyes looks great.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.
I would think all those flaws will qualify for a replacement. It's just so annoying that you have to go through the whole process! All you want to do when you get your shiny new statue is for it to be perfect and satisfying to look at. I hope you come right - let us know what happens!

Mine should be arriving tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed. I tend to worry when unboxing time comes.

Mine was scheduled for delivery this friday by fed ex, but she arrived yesterday, i couldnt wait so popped out to the depot to pick her up myself.
I seriously cant believe how small the box is!
Cant wait to open her when i get home!

I don't have room in my schedule as yet to take commissions on this, but I sure want to have a go at doing Trevor's amazing sculpt justice with a great paint up on one of these Faith statues some time.

The proto paint by Mike Najera was great!

Too bad "art" and "factory" aren't synonymous.

I have a feeling they will not release any waitlist items yet. I think they are waiting till all of us receive our statues to be sure there aren't a lot of exchanges. Once they arrive and everything can be assessed, I think that is when things may be released.

We already know 1 is going back for replacement, and a lot of us have not received ours yet (mine is here today).

As for Paint. Nathan, I would give anything for ssc to not send mine in for painting, and hold it back for you to do, and then just pay the higher fee.

Some companies have experimented with this idea of selling unpainted statues. However, as they explained it, due to the smaller edition run of unpainted pieces, they would need to charge clients approx twice the amount of the painted regs for the unpainted versions. So, you could imagine just how much of a hit this concept was with fans across the board.
