Just benchmarking against the recent PF releases which are mostly around $350 or more. Actually I m thinking whether I should paint this to look like the classic wolverine, will this effect the value of this piece?

I'm not a paint expert but would it be easy to do normal paint? Would be good custom projects

At this size it is not too hard if to mask, air brush and touch up smaller areas by hand brushing.

My local retailer still havent have this for preorder... Wonder why it is taking them longer than usual.

bronze might be hard to cover

With proper cleaning of the mould release and primer applied should be same as another polystone/resin statue.

I don't think these are just bronze paint like bowen's faux bronzes

I believe these are resin mix with bronze powder, whereelse polystone are actually resin mix with stone powder. There are actually special primers for metal or resin which can be pre applied before actual painting to provide the grip for the paint.

Not really an expert but i have work with resin before as I do some gundam modeling and painting as well but never before statue.

Always wanted a Wolverine in my collection and with the crazy prices for the PF, the low ES for this one & the no NRD made my PO decision easy! I think this will sold out quickly for the previous reasons
