I appreciate it thanks! I have the old one (and the medicom) and am just seeing if the Ex is worth holding out for or not.

Don't have the exclusive, but the regular hilt is a completely new sculpt, smaller in size, so I assume the ex is also smaller.

My hilt actually broke in half a few days ago (it's apparently held together with a glued peg in the middle), it was a bit flimsy from the start. I dremeled a hole in each end and inserted a piece of a paperclip to hold them together. Still need to find something a bit more durable. But now I guess I have an exclusive version as well, since he can use them as two single blades.

The new lightsaber has slightly more detail. Definitely painted better. It's also slightly smaller, as it should be.

Arrived today.....not worth the retail price (got it $50 off) but it's an upgrade over past SS releases. It gives me hope Zuckus and Dengar will turn out well...

Yep. $50 coupon for international buyers reaaly means $10 off as shipping are roughly $40. Add import taxes of $60 over that and its almost a $300 figure. Skipped Ex on V.1 so it would have been nice to get that severed saber. Oh well, HT will soon get to it and include it with its Dx version.

True. For me it's always $46. $50 off is simply a free shipping for me, nothing more.

Am I satisfied spending $200 for non exclusive versus retail, meh..yeah. I feel $180 would been proper price point because lack of accessories but the sculpt, the paint and the body big improvements IMO. That said, I don't buy many SS products so hard for me to compare against recent releases. Red Five last purchase which I find this an improvement especially the body. The costume isn't bad but I feel room for improvement (not that it's bad by any stretch)....He is a wee little man too but overall I'd give it a acceptable (not great) choice at $200

No problem.....Maul does give hope Zuckus and Dengar will be quality figs......the good news is Maul is a step up from my last purchase so their heading in the right direction.

My custom with medi sculpt. I might get a ss sculpt but I feel not toys will make him eventually. As for the outfit it's nice. I just need to upgrade the belt...

I'll say the new ss is on point but I didn't buy him whole. I added appt of stuff from it though more than I thought I would.... Tunic saber hands and belt next i think. Body is a ht obi wan with 89 Batman neck. The boots are medi so is the inner tunic and arm.bands head was custom cut to fit the neck

how is SS quality compared to Hot Toys? Seems like Maul got good reviews
