Really? We should all go back to the thread and relive our original dissapointment...LOL . Lets see, helmet, wrist gauntlets, paint apps, and the chest armor. More issues than the chest armor that I can recall.
I find our apathy increases over time, but by no means as we reflect back 5 years from now will we see this as a decent Fett...like SSC Bespin Han.
I will argue Medicom ROTJ fett will still hold its desire.

That said I'm really hoping SSC pulls this off and we get an amazing Vader.

Meh. Besides the chest armor you're talking about a lot of little nit-picky things only the **** retentives where complaining about. I don't remember a lot of people being disappointed.

And once you mentioned Medicom Fett... well... :lol

I just did the hot water shrink trick on my Boba Fett's chest armor when I got him and I've been happy with him since.

I hope ssc does put a nrd on this. It will let the people who want this get this.

Price on this will be around $200/230. Has more to do with the clone pricing. Also the other darth is $185.00. I think I will keep both.

Still say this is wrong.

Betting he's not going to be more than 189. there is NOTHING about this figure that makes me think he'll break the 200$ mark. Not even the fact that it's Darth Vader.

which even then is still too much imo, but the bubble is streached to that point currently.

I don't care how much it is I am getting one. And I think that stands for everyone as well. I don't see the point in speculating on the price when we all know, in the end, SSC has us by the deku nuts.

Well look at all of us, walking into this release with our knickers around our ankles, ready to take whatever sideshow gives us. :lol

Ha, not this cat (though I think this will be expensive with the additional headsculpt, helmet display and stand, plus SSC putting a premium on the character -- and if it's accurate, it'll be worth every penny). Personally I'd rather have no Vader than a fatally flawed one. Hopefully they come through with a fantastic figure, though.

HT Japan/Toy Saphien is the official distributor of SS stuffs, so its only natural that they publicize SS stuffs on their site.

HT DX = PERS. SS DX = more accessories.

Well, here is something to think about.
Commander Wolffe. Significantly more expensive than other clones, not so much from other commanders but still a $20 or so price increase.

Hot toys figures. Most of them have seen a big increase in their prices just because.

SSC + Hot toys working on clone figures might equal to Hot toys help on the weapons, new hs and more. In turn, this will increase the price because HT increased their price in almost all new releases.
Then there is the higher cost of transportation and other variables.

Other than that, price increase justification might be a simple case of SSC feeling they are offering more quality and that they can do as HT does, little by little increasing their prices.
I feel SSC has improved sculpts, paint app and the overall quality of their 1/6 since the first commander was released. This might be another reason why the price increase and the increased quantity of accessories, hs, etc that SSC is adding to let's say Wolffe.

Having the "Deluxe" all over this release, could be a warning that SSC expect to charge for this more than your average 1/6 SW release. But it also means that it will contain more accessories and perhaps improved and more detailed sculpts.

Yeah, the 'Deluxe' might be a warning sign for collectors that SS is preparing to announce a rape price. Though i doubt their human paint apps, inner body is anywhere as good as HT's.

I know Hydeous... But their Emperor Palpatine wasn't that bad as they're not using normal skin tones. But... regardless... I will definitely have my Vader posed with his helmet on instead of the two 15 second scenes where he didn't have it on.

I'm just hoping we don't get a lego chest cough cough BOBA

Well, I for one won't be surprised if this is at least $200. I think the first Vader was the first SS figure to break the $100 mark and it would only be fitting for the 2.0 to be the one that breaks the $200 barrier.

And I didn't have any problems with the SS Fett either, other than the chest armor, and of course the pro body, but that's to be expected. I still think he's a great figure.

Hope its $300

No chance. $300 is for their Vader 3.0 figure.
