Dome looks the same as before to me. But it never really bothered me. Lights eh? We'll see what the price is.

Those are some strange pics. The helmet looks different in a few of the shots, a lot of photoshop and some weird **** going on with the proportions and leather suit. It looks like it could be a great overall package, but reserving judgement. Especially with the helmet, it looks like a generic Vader sculpt, reminds me of the Family Guy Vader in those pics. Would like to see some clear "real" pics. :dunno

Didn't see this pic before that was on Yakface... looks like more of the original teaser. And an older Shaw looking sculpt:

Oh, here we go. :lol

Let me try and get this straight. People paid 175 bucks for HT Agent Coulson, basically a dude in a suit with a gun, from a movie people won't remember in 30 years time. But are *****ing about paying 25 bucks more for a figure with working lights, light up base, removable helmet and stand, multiple hands, and happens to be the most iconic villain of our generation. :dunno. I don't understand.

Simple answer. People overpay for hot toys, becuase they think in 6 months time they can flip them on ebay for 300-400% more than they paid.

I hope this looks good posed in a saber battle with the bespin Luke.

Thanks to his artiulation granted by somewhat baggy suit, he should look excellent

Yeah. Hot toys buyers are "special" to say the least. Planning their retirement by buying green hulk toys. God bless them and their blinders.

Go to see Star Trek and come back to see these pics revealed :yess: :panic:

Looks great! Afraid of the price but absolutely love how this looks :rock

Hmm, what's with the Hot Toys hate? Both companies can co-exist and people can buy both for different reasons, y'know.

No hate here. Just get tired of people with less than 100 posts jumping in here saying ssc costs too much and hot toys would do better for half the price etc etc etc. it gets old after 5 years.

And I've never understood people trying to **** on other people's parade. Fine, you don't like this vader, move on and stop posting in the thread.
