Yeah. Hot toys buyers are "special" to say the least. Planning their retirement by buying green hulk toys. God bless them and their blinders.

Hmm, what's with the Hot Toys hate? Both companies can co-exist and people can buy both for different reasons, y'know.

it's not hate... but there is an awfl lot of people who will pay whatever hot toys asks... becuase it's hot toys.

They could have charged 300$ for coulton, and they would still buy him... with plans to put him on ebay for 600$ the next day. it's sad, becuase these speculators are driving the cost of everything else in the hoby up.... Kinda like what happened to comic books in the 90's. And we all know how that ended up.

Do we know/think there will be more pics that show off the complete Anakin sculpt? Really intrigued if the chest box and belt boxes do have working lights. Love how the cape drapes too

Agreed there's no reason to keep ranting in a thread once someone's said their piece but this is just the very beginning of the conversation. We have preview pics tomorrow, I guess, then eight months or so of back and forth before the real, in-hand impressions start pouring in. I'm just going to do my best to enjoy the ride. I love Vader but I've kinda learned to temper my expectations with everything 1:6, whether it's SSC, HT or customs.

Yeah, the speculating and the way some parts of the community revel in exclusivity are my least favourite aspects of the hobby, but I've decided I'll never pay secondary prices, period.

Get what you're saying about Hot Toys but at least in a case like Coulson, it's an easy pass for most people. At the same time, what a gem if you're really into the Avengers (I'm not) to be getting well made, secondary figures like that. I don't buy a lot of Hot Toys but I really love them for some of the stuff they've done, like MILK War Machine, Iron Monger and possibly Iron Whiplash (supposing it makes production). The latter two especially seem to be figures that would simply never get made without Hot Toys expertise and popularity, so despite the issues, I'm glad they're around. Anyway, I get where you guys are coming from, now, so I'll not derail further!

And to answer your question, doing the "datamining" there are threee pictures missing from those listed.

Pictures 7, 9, and 10 are not posted. one of those MUSt be the shaw head, one ight be the helmet interior, and one's GOT to be the full spread.

Looks good, but if this thing is over $200, the helmet and dome better be DEAD ON to the movie.

Unfortunately such details can only be "dead on" to what Lucasfilm Licensing approves (and mandates?), which may or may not be what was used in the original movies. How have the helmets been in the various video games of the past few years? If those are different than in the first two movies, I'd expect any new figures to follow suit.

Seeing as this thing won't be out until 2014 but is looking to be insanely popular already, I figure most folks here are going to pre-order, myself included. The $199 price point seems about right based on other SSC releases.
