Looks like this isn't being touted as an ESB / ROTJ mashup anymore...

Sideshow celebrates the 30th anniversary of Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi with the new Darth Vader Deluxe Sixth Scale Figure.

Hadn't noticed that... wonder if they're now planning a ESB as well, or if they realized a mash-up wasn't a good idea.

the exclusive is still around? Geesh. they must have made a ton of these.....

They do exclusives based on demand now, rather than a set number. They will eventually set an ES, but it won't be for awhile in order to get as many orders as possible.

But rest assured this one (like the ANH) will eventually sell out and will go up in value. Even if it is flawed, it's still Vader and the one figure people will want above others.

Whaat?!? Really?!?

*Goes to check Sideshow website*

Well would you look at that! I wonder if that means we'll eventually get an ESB Vader!

The pre-order e-mail notice had the ROTJ 30th Anniversary logo on the picture and I believe said that on the product page when the pre-orders opened, not really anything new there.

....but stern is more generlizable given this is intended to serve both ESB and ROTJ.

Aside from that I agree the rest of the reveal, teases and final pics are a mess.

It is?

I know that was SSC's intentions originally, but it is listed now as - very specifically - Return of the Jedi Vader.

Gboy. Do ya got'd me on the ignore? :monkey2

Oh. Sorry 'bout that. I'll go troll back through the hundreds of posts until I find that info since I didn't read every post in this thread.

On second thought, nah, I won't. :)

Woops. Didn't mean to copy that part of the post.

Nice avatar, BTW. My friends have been telling me to check out Doctor Who for years and I just got An Unearthly Child from Netflix!

I recommend it. But be prepared. It is slow paced, low budget, and black and white. But as long as that doesn't bother you it's a fun beginning to a great show.

You got'd me on ignore? I posted it almost two months ago.

I just noticed that he has the ROTJ saber (even though someone already said it). It says Return of the Jedi on the order page too.

Doesn't seem as hybrid anymore. I wonder if that means we'll still get a straight up ESB Vader.

I wonder what other ROTJ stuff we'll see this year. It would be a perfect time to get out a ROTJ Fett but with the white proto I doubt that will happen.
